I think we were scammed. I have booked many tours through TripAdvisor and Viator and this was an absolute failure and first for us. On the walk to our meeting spot, I received a call that our tour operator could not get tickets into the Lourve and we needed to go another day. I was so confused because isn’t this tour including tickets? Isn’t this what I bought? After 30 minutes she called me back and was able to get the tickets. We met her and I could tell something was off. She did not have any credentials like all the tour operators around us had or any hearing devices like the other tours had. It was a busy day and I knew we would not be able to hear her as a large group. She got us in though, but was scolded by staff repeatedly for not having her lanyard. Once inside we needed a ticket to get into the exhibits. She had to take us to a special room where we had to refill out all the information I had already done when I bought the tour days before. It took almost an hour and our guide was once again scolded by staff. Something was very off. When we finally got our tickets and were able to enter the exhibits, it was very clear our guide did not know anything about what we were seeing. She was reading the plaques and regurgitating the info. She admitted she did not usually do inside tours. When we asked questions we were often told, “I have no idea”. The whole experience was awful and we didn’t learn one single thing. This was embarrassing to have paid as much as we did and to have had this experience. We were scammed. I contacted Tour Up and Viator and have not heard a word back. This was disappointing
I highly recommend this tour and company. We went during a busy time, but Valerie made sure the tour process was smooth, and our guide Polina was lovely! She was super patient, kind, and was highly knowledgeable. Definitely look into this experience! :)

Our guide was nice but we waited about 30 minutes after the line and everything because there was a ticket issue he didnt know how to deal with so we lost like 20% of our time. We went back and forth at times and he seemed unsure how to get to some places. I told him ahead of time that I had a bad knee. He said that was useful to know but then when we were at the tour, he didnt seem to know where elevators were or where they would take us so there were no accommodations for me. There was a section I asked about several times, and he didn't seem to know where it was or how to get there. He wouldn't ask for help so we had some idle time and back and forth time going through the same sections we had been to.
Dear Kenneth Webster, Thank you for your review. I am happy we could accommodate your last minute booking (6 hours prior to the tour). As we explained in the message before the tour, all the tickets were sold out, so we needed to buy annual passes for you for which we needed some time on the site to gather the personal info and your photos. Annual passes costed us 6 times the price of the usual tickets but we did not ask any additional payment from you. Thank you for appreciating our small gesture. As for the elevator the guide tried his best, simultaneously the Louvre is a former royal residence not very well equipped with the 21st century facilities. Maybe it would have been best to take a small chair that was offered to you in the beginning of the tour but you refused for some reason. We are deeply sorry for not showing you the Napoleon the 3d apartments as they were temporary closed due to the heat and the absence of the AC there. Amazing experience! We went during a heat wave and most companies were cancelling. This was our third attempt. They assured us that they would not cancel and they were true to their word. Our tour guide Vani was great. She was patient and gave us a great tour. She was knowledgeable and presented the information in a way art novices like us could digest it. Highly recommend!
Great experience with the guide, well knowledgeable. Vani will to explain everything to us even we are tourists from overseas.
