It was a great tour. Cal was very knowledgeable about the area and he took us to a lot of sites to see..
LA tour not as expected. Guide cum driver an excellent person who guided well us in the tour. The locations are not so attractive
Where to begin...First I would rate this operator a "0" not even a "1" star. My family and I decided to use this tour operator as we had 10 people 2 Senior Citizens and 3 children so that we can cater our tour per the likings of the group. The operator was shady to begin with on the phone when I reached out to them on where the pick up and drop should be. I still caved on meeting him at his meeting point. I asked what kind of vehicle we would be riding in. He stated it is like a bus not a 15 passenger van. Which is what I wanted as my mother had recently had both of her knees replaced. Lateral movement is difficult, and getting on and off would be difficult as well. He assured me up and down that the vehicle will suit our needs. I asked to take a few things off the list of things that he had on his tour, and and something else. He said he couldn't although the advertisement states he is flexible. To add Griffith's Observatory and remove Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach he wanted an extra $220 cash. Which again I agreed to. The day before the tour, we confirmed all that was discussed above including time, and we were on our way the next day. I found parking couldn't see him. Turns out he shows up in a beat up 1990's Dodge Ram 15 passenger van. I looked at the van and immediately stated that you claimed that you had a newer bus like vehicle. He then stated this is what he has and that we had to take it or leave it. While talking to him, there was a stench that was unbearable. He looked like he just rolled out of bed pants were stained and wore a white company T-shirt over a normal shirt and and a worn out cap. I immediately realized that this was going to be a bad day if I caved in again and told him I did not want to proceed with the risk of a dangerous vehicle and a smelly tour guide. I immediately told him we would not proceed, he then took off in a hurry. I have pictures of the van he showed up in with the license plates to confirm. And a video depicting how he drove off. If you are looking for a tour guide to provide you a nice tour of LA and Hollywood, this is not the guy!!!
We are surprised at your review which you refused to take our tour and contains information that is not true. We have excellent tour guides and the one you were going to take the tour with is highly regarded. We have excellent custom tour vehicles air conditioned with comfortable seating. We hope you have a better experience next time.
Sunset strip where we saw The Viper Room, Whiskey, and wish we could have seen Motley Crew at The Roxy. The Hollywood sign along with specific homes in Beverly Hills. Our guide Cal was very personable, and knowledgeable about the local history, past current and future of the L.A area, highly booking another tour with him
We had an excellent tour of LA and Hollywood. Lots of sights and information on the 6 hour trip with a wide variety of stops. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide - nothing was too much trouble. Even went back when we missed a photo opportunity. Appreciated not feeling rushed and going at our pace.
He did not speak the language requested on the tour well, very difficult communication, you could see preparation but did not arrive by the language barrier.
Nos sorprende su comentario sobre la barrera del idioma ya que nuestro guía es educado en idioma español.
We had a 12 hour Stopover in LAX before going on to Sydney. We Ubered up to Hollywood to jump on the hop on, hop off bus. We saw all the highlights. Ate at InNout burger (animal style is a must), saw Beverly Hills, walked the Santa Monica Pier and ate dinner there before Ubering back to LAX to continue our flight to Sydney. We had a great, self directed tour on an absolutely fabulous day!
The driver was knowledgeable and very friendly. The tour covered a lot of history of LA. We really enjoyed the tour.
Truly enjoyed the time here. Very gracious host and allowed us to take pics/video at drop off locations. Would definitely recommend!
Very dissatisfied with this company. I booked this reservation months in advance and the company called me to confirm two days before the trip. They tried to get me to move the tour because they were busy. My schedule didn’t allow so they said okay. Called again the next day asking us to change the time. Said they would call back to confirm and never did. I called them the day of the tour and they said they couldn’t accommodate us. Did not even call us to can’t. Had I not called we would have driven there with no tour guide. Very unprofessional.
We are sorry to hear you had a scheduling conflict with your your. During the busy summer season, we try to accommodate all of our guests to the best of our ability.
