The place I saved my luggage was really safe and the people there were kind all the time. There is a station from the Metro near then I used it to move around the city.
I have paid and confirmed a stasher storage online. However, I found that the storage spot was suspended when I arrived. Unfortunately, I have to carry a 17kg luggage to visit the Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier and back to LAX, which is terrible and spoiled my layover in LA.
