Los Angeles Half Day Private Tour

My daughter and I visited LA for the first time last month. We took a custom tour of LA with Vince that was booked through Lala Tours. We settled on a Thursday morning 8:30 a.m. tour. This time was great because the crowds were minimal in the touristy areas. We really enjoyed our 5 hour tour with him. The first thing he did was pick us up from our hotel in a large Mercedes. The car would have been big enough to hold a large family. He worked hard with us on what we wanted to see. We had some must-sees for my daughter. She is on the autism spectrum and a Big Bang Theory fan. We wanted to see Pasadena the show takes place (we had already seen the filming location at Warner Bros). There is a TBBT street sign there and we went to walk a little on the Caltech campus. There was also a neighborhood in the hills where one of the stars is supposed to live. My daughter had some descriptions she read on an article which I passed on to Vince. He was able to figure out the possible neighborhood from the descriptions. It was so cool to go by these unique homes in the hills. There's no way a bus would have wound up those narrow roads! We picked a few other places that are on typical tours (Hollywood sign, Griffith Park observatory, Venice Beach, Rodeo Drive). I really enjoyed Vince on his explanations of life around LA and pointing out additional things to do when my husband and I come out ourselves in a few years. Another plus with this tour is we were checking out of our original hotel and had our luggage with us. At the end of the tour, he dropped us off at the hotel by LAX where we were staying before our flight back to DC. This saved on Uber costs. I would highly recommend using Lala tours and getting Vince for a guide if you need to plan a custom tour in LA.

My husband and I had an only 1 full day to enjoy LA, and Vincent was the perfect guide. We were able to check off our bucket lists of things to do. You can tell right away that Vincent enjoys the tourism business and really wants his clients to learn about the area and enjoy the time we spend there. We had a fabulous time.
