I went with 2 adults and 10 high school age Girl Scouts. Mala was our tour guide, and she was great - friendly, very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. The walking tour was really interesting and the art was great! The workshop was a lot of fun and hands-on. I highly recommend this for teens and adults. I marked “meeting or pickup” low because it was hard to find. I had to call and was told to park in spots for another business. So, maybe a little more signage. Otherwise, fantastic and more than worth the price!
My 6 year old saw "exit through the gift shop" with me and it held his interest so I thought this activity would be fun. It did and our instructor Mala was good to show us 3 styles to work on. Of course i kinda sucked at this (lol) but it was fun and really eye-opening for both of us. My kid was into it and mentions this activity everyday since we did it (since we see graffiti everyday lol).
Absolutely the best time! SHAK is the BEST. He taught us about different types of spray paints, technics, and how you can't mess up when creating a piece. He is a talented artist and is passionate about his craft. My 15 year old really liked learning about the art of graffiti and Shak took time and they came up with a unique tag he can use. Family fun and now we examine the graffiti we see and grade it!
Smart was a great instructor and we had a great time!!
This was a good intro to graffiti art with a little history and hands on opportunity. We just wished the artist let us do more. We initially got to practice making bubble letters. We had 4 people in our group but she only let 2 of us spray at a time (maybe that is typical). When it was time to create our group’s word, she did most of it for us and we only got to fill in the letters and background. My boys were disappointed and mentioned that they didn’t get to do that much.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on it. There is no paint smell!! They use water based paint which is pretty cool!
What a fun time. Our instructor was amazing and flawless in her teaching. What a joy for me. A surprise gift from my husband. It was the best gift ever!! I'm the crazy one who loves to photograph any art/graffiti I see. I have already recommended your business to so many. Thank you again🤎
Lots of fun! Different kind of experience. Mala was very good host. Bring a smock! Doing our own board was great.
Thank you Hans for being a great instructor and making the space so welcoming to beginners! definitely would recommend!!
Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the artists, the history, and the neighborhood we walked through. We learned so much about the stories behind the murals—not just the art itself, but the culture and community around it. It was the perfect mix of education and fun, and the pace was relaxed enough to actually stop, look, and take photos. Highly recommend this tour, whether you’re local or visiting—you’ll never look at street art the same way again.
