Wonderful day out

Travelling by coach to Litchfield National park. The sound system on the bus didnt work properly so it was very hard to hear the comentary, we were in the back half of the bus ! Apart from that firstly the Florence falls were a steep walk down , but weell worth the effort- very spectacular & swimming if you wanted. 15mins wasnt long really long enough for the swimmers ! We saw Tolmer falls & Wangi falls also. We had a lovely salad selection for lunch which was included in our package ! Ajay our driver was a great tour guide, very friendly & easy going ! Coffee stop on the way & a few toilet stops made it a pleasant day out !

Particularly unimpressed!

The provider cancelled this trip on 28th April and informed us that Viator would process our full refund. It is now 6th May and we still have NOT RECEIVED OUR REFUND! This is completely unacceptable and if it is not resolved very quickly I will be lodging a complaint with Australian Consumer Affairs and publishing my opinion on social media as well.

Operator response

Hi Pam, Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience caused by the cancellation of your tour and the delay in receiving your refund. As the booking was made through Viator, all payments and refunds are processed directly by their platform. Once the tour was cancelled, we promptly authorised the full refund through Viator's system. Unfortunately, the timing of when the funds appear back in your account is determined by Viator and your financial institution and can sometimes take several business days to process. We understand your concern and appreciate that waiting for a refund can be frustrating. We recommend contacting Viator directly for an update on the status of your refund, as they will have access to the most current information regarding the transaction. We apologize again for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Top End Advertures.

A superb day out Jas is an excellent guide and very safe on the road. The highlights were definitely the termite mounds and the swim in the Wangi Falls. Punctual pickup and drop off. Recommend any of AAT KINGS tours. You won’t be disappointed.

Interesting tour, disappointing lunch

Pick up was quite early, but punctual. Libby described a lot of interesting places and facts and drove very safely. Bus was very clean and comfortable. The only disappointment was the lunch, very rudimentary, basic salad ingredients and cold meats served with bread. Soft drinks, beer and wine and dessert all had to be purchased at additional cost. (Although extras reasonably priced).

Terrific day

Coach was modern and comfortable. Driver was friendly, professional and exceptional commentary. Stops at Lil Ripper Cafe at Batchelor for morning tea and Litchfield Cafe for lunch were great. Florence, Tolmer and Wangi Falls were breathtaking and did not disappoint. Could not fault anything. Highly recommend.
