Patient and kind lady... No sheet or diagram , being visual I would have liked to have had one to be able to reproduce the model(s) learned instead of making them from memory or searching on the internet. It is a private workshop, no materials available for purchase. A pleasant experience.
It seems you make things by hand, and you've skillfully used mizuhiki to create beautiful accessories. Thank you so much for coming.
Very welcoming and a great teacher! Location is easy to find and making the mizuhiki was a great, fun experience. The cup of matcha at the end was a nice treat as well!
He quickly learned how to tie Mizuhiki and skillfully completed two types of accessories. He was also a very kind person. Thank you so much.
I had a lot of fun making the mizuhiku accessories, it was very interesting to learn this traditional art! The woman running the workshop was very friendly and encouraging, the instructions were very easy to follow. Very happy with my results
Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm happy that you've completed the beautiful and lovely accessory. Thank you so much.
I feel exceptionally lucky that I was able to take this class one on one. The designs look very complicated but my instructor (I never asked her name 😭) was very patient with me and helped me make a beautiful set of earrings! I hope I can come back to learn other designs!!
Thank you for visiting us. You made beautiful flower earrings with great skill. I look forward to seeing you again.
So much fun. You get in a zone and focus and the time flies. We also got matcha, sweets and extra materials to make more things at home. I can't wait to make more accessories at home and gift to friends
She seems to be used to making accessories, and she quickly understood how to tie the Mizuhiki and completed a very cute accessory. Thank you very much.
I was looking to sample various Japanese crafts while I was visiting and this was a lovely time. The hostess was gracious and patient and I left with a pair of earrings, a key chain charm, and more.
You worked very hard and made a wonderful accessory. I was very happy that you liked the other handmade accessories too. Thank you very much for coming.
We had a wonderful time in this hands-on experience creating a one of a kind souvenir from Kyoto! We highly recommend this to anyone who loves creative craft work!
Even though you walked for a long time on a very hot day, you worked hard to make the accessories. I'm also very happy that you were interested in various accessories. Thank you very much.
This was a lovely and fun experience. The instructor was gentle, kind and generous. It was with every penny.
Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad that everyone was having fun and making accessories with enthusiasm. Thank you very much for visiting me.
The most friendly and welcoming lady. A small authentic feeling setting. Can also rent kimono at the shop.
I'm sorry for the late reply. At that time, you worked really hard on making accessories and completed a cute keychain. Thank you very much.
Akemi is a patient and kind teacher. She demonstrated how to make the basic knot and then guided me to learn how to make a leaf knot and a flat plum knot, first with one mizuhiki cord, then with 2, and 3 different colors. I made pieces that can be hung on my daypack. I enjoyed my lesson very much. I highly recommend Akemi’s lesson if you want to learn a Japanese traditional craft.
Thank you for your wonderful review. You were quick to understand and created a cute accessory. Thank you so much for coming.
