Legally sneak in the banned Train Street

Description
The experience I would like to share with you following the train schedules, at the moment, there's an only afternoon option - Afternoon option starts at 2:00 pm. You will be picked up from your accommodation, after the briefing, we will hop on a car to go to the train street ( where people live along the activating train track ) which is officially banned from visiting by our government. But as travel experts, we know the back door to let you sneak in and become one of the few explorers who can interact with unknown and unique parts, and experience the contrast between the noise and peace of the neighborhood with a cup of egg coffee while the train passes by. Afterward, we will explore the maze of a back street, finding exceptional experiences in the most common things: tiny alleyways, local houses, schools, and even mechanic black markets. After all the unforgettable experiences, we will let you try a local snack before dropping you back.

Walked to train street from our hotel in old quarter and it was very easy to access, walked through the street and decided to stop and have some drinks at Eisenbahn Kaffee where the gentleman there was a pleasure to meet… he was so accomodating to our family and spent time plying with our toddler on the tracks and told us about the history of the place whilst serving us great drinks… will definitely recommend for everyone visiting the area…
We found a local cafe owner to show us through and it was awesome! Great food too! We had two families of four and it was a highlight of Hanoi
Our guide was so easy to get along with and conversation was easy and gentle. Lee had a great knowledge of the city, and history of the area and was able to build our knowledge of Hanoi. Train Street itself was good fun, I was able to enjoy my first Vietnamese style Egg Hot Chocolate, which was incredibly delicious, as we awaited the train. Afterwards we wandered through nearby areas as Lee pointed out interest spots, giving us background history and explained cultural understandings along the way before organising a taxi to drop us all back to our hotel.
Tour was amazing. Guide was brilliant and really looked after us. Train experience was a one of a kind. Highly recommend.
Our guide Kevin showed us the black market and told us a lot of interesting information about Hanoi and about Vietnam. Eventually we sat down at a cafe on the train tracks. We got rice wine and local snacks. It was impressive to see the train go by so close. We thought it was a very nice tour!
We had our tour today and really enjoyed it! Our tour guide was super kind and really answered all the questions we had. He took care of us at all time and we had the best experience! After going to see the train street, sipping coffee there in a nice local café and see the train going through (our guide supported us in taking photos as well), we went to a local market (whole sale for electricity and fruit market). After that he took us back to our hotel. All in all a great tour, that didn't last too long. Moreover he also recommended some food spots. We can really recommend!
Hotel was wonderful. People were wonderful. We spend two days at Ha Lon Bay. The water was very polluted with so much garbage. Very disappointing to see. Our ship was great, food outstanding. We did many tours out of Hanoi, thanks to Booking.com. Over all we enjoyed our holiday.
