Great experience and very accommodating. Our first attempt got cancelled due to lightning but were able to get back in the following day. Thanks to Sunni and Ryan for teaching us the basics and getting us up on a board for the first time.
We had a great experience with our surf instructor! They definitely worked with our different levels of skills. Highly recommend!
Fantastic ! What a great way to learn to surf. Our 15 yr old had a blast on a windy, wet day. Really nice set up, good equipment and an excellent enthusiastic instructor. Three people love their surfing. We choose a lovely beach, less busy than Bondi. Cafe and shops around for those not getting wet.
We signed up for a 2-hour surfing lesson in Maroubra. The guides were good and quite communicative - James and Diego. However, me (and most of the other group) struggled to catch a wave. The sea was ferocious and the tide strong. Not sure if it was just a bad time, or this place in general is rough, but was overall a sub-optimal experience.
I originally purchased a morning session at Maroubra Beach however it was canceled due to dangerous conditions. They were able to reschedule me immediately to an afternoon session at Bondi Beach that same day. I was in a small group (5) with Harper. I was a bit scared because I can barely swim. But Harper was super nice and encouraging. He was a great teacher too. Because we were all beginners, he kept us in shallow water so our feet were always touching the floor. He set up the ride and we were all able to stand and ride waves all the way to the shore. He gave constructive feedback that led to improvement after each run. If you are an absolute beginner like me, I highly recommend a session with Harper. I wish there were photos but we left all our belongings in their shop after changing into wetsuits. There was nowhere to store our phones on the beach while we were out in the water.
‘Let’s Go Surfing’ are very reliable and Archie was a great instructor, very patient and chilled. Maroubra is a great beach to learn to surf.
It was a great experience and it was a lot of fun! The instructors explain the basics in the beginning and we also tried out some practical skills on the beach before catching the waves ! Everything was very well organized
Thanks heaps for the shout out!!!! 🙏🏄♂️❤️🤙😀
Great lesson, well structured. Our instructor Meg was awesome. She was very helpful and gave clear instructions. We enjoyed it so much that we want to try it again! Thank you for a lovely time
It got cancelled - rescheduled for next week. Reschedule process was easy - with a phone call. But no email or txt follow up to confirm new time
They told me kindly to surf for the first time. I was the only Japanese, but it was fun to communicate with others.
Thanks a lot for your review. We are glad you had amazing experience. Cheers, LGS
