Great experience for kids and adults alike!
We weren’t sure about going to this, and wound up learning so much and loving it! It lasted about 45 minutes, and we gained a lot of knowledge That we referred back to during our entire visit. Adults and kids would enjoy this. Do it!
Unique and enjoyable. Staff were fantastic, very welcoming. Option for ear defenders and fidget toy for nervous kids, very accommodating. Every one attending was treated as an importable party of the experience, questions were taken and answered in a knowledgeable and easy to understand way, and kids to adults were treated equally. Highly recommend the experience.
Informative and enjoyable show! I definitely recommend it! The gift shop and bar are nice also. I just wish the beautiful lava coasters would have been sold separately because the set of 4 was too expensive for me, and it would be fun enjoy some more creative volcanic-related cocktails!
Reykjavík Lava Show is worth the time and the slightly higher price for the second level seating due to the more comfortable temperature upstairs & the included drink.
Great experience ! Must do to feel the lava. Really Nice to do with kids too. Long explanations, you have time to ask your questions too, the guide is great.
The Lava show was a fantastic experience. Never anywhere else (unless to close to a real Volcano at the wrong time ) will I ever see molten lava so close up the heat from so little was intense and just watching it cool and change was amazing. Neil had a great way of description of what was going on and had the audience captivated. A MUST DO actuation when In Reykjavík
Such a cool and informative show. The lava was mesmerizing. Alma has a passion for volcanos and did a great job with the demonstration. She was also quite funny.
We found it very interesting and our guide was very knowledgeable without sounding boring
We did the standard show, not premium, and it was great. You can order a drink to bring in with you if desired. The heat from the lava being poured down the ramp is significant, so my husband was glad he had a cold beer handy. We sat in the front row right in the middle and it was great. Second row center is great too, but there isn’t really a bad seat - very well organized. It is educational with a great video first. Ian,the moderator, was knowledgeable and funny, who answered questions at the end. The lava is amazing to see how it reacts with glacier ice, how long it remains molten, and the crazy temperatures it reaches. Well worth the time and money!
