Nearly four hours spent on bus just to get there and back as we drove around multiple hotels, switched to a larger coach to fit even more people, and waited for even more people again to fill in on the way back. These guys are maxing profits and maxing bus time at your expense. The aquarium, cathedral and botanical gardens are all fantastic and you should visit. But get a taxi for the same price and save yourself the drudge.
Our prime reason for taking this tour was to see the botanical garden de Viera and Clavijo. We were surprised that the tour would run on Christmas Eve but was assured that the tour would run as usual. Sadly when the coach approached the garden it was clear that the car park was deserted and the garden was closed. The operator hadn’t done their homework. The rest of the tour was ok but no refund was offered. Disappointed.
We are sorry that the visit to the Viera y Clavijo Botanical Garden did not take place as expected. We would like to clarify that we were not notified by the Cabildo of the closure of the Botanical Garden on Christmas Eve. The tour was therefore operated as scheduled in good faith. Once it became clear on site that the garden was closed, we immediately adjusted the itinerary and included a visit to Parque Doramas instead, managing the situation in real time so that guests would not miss out on sightseeing during the tour. The remainder of the excursion was delivered as planned. As the service itself was provided and an alternative visit was offered, a refund was not applicable in this case. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for choosing us.
The tour guide did a good job! Unfortunately it was very cold for me when visiting the extinct volcano and the botanical garden, and I had to get on the bus earlier, unfortunately I didn't have a jacket with me, because I didn't know that it was colder and windier in the north of Gran Canaria! In the city of Las Palmas it was not quite so cold and windy! All in all, the trip from the south to the capital was quite interesting!
Nice trip. Our guide gave us plenty of information about the country and people. The time in the bot.garden m.45min too scarce
The spectacular view ,beautiful botanical garden and fabulous water park ,not to be missed if you have the chance to see it
Well organized. Very attentive, friendly and helpful guide as well as the bus driver made the trip very pleasant. Variety in places visited, nature and visit to the capital. Recommended.
It was an experience from the beginning, the bus driver drove safely and well, the tour guides spoke in three languages, understandable and informative, it was very interesting and you also had enough time. This made the island even more familiar for us. Always happy!
Everything worked out great The only pity was that the information of the guide had to be given in English and German on the bus Participants came from different countries Contrary to the text announcement, this trip was only announced for German A lot of time was lost after all
Beautiful promenade, crater, hostoric center of Las Palmas and also time to go shopping. It is a tour with lots of information and also give plenty of time to enjoy each part. The best the guide and driver Tomas, very friendly!
A very enjoyable day with a very good guide and just as important driver. The only downside was the organisation on early pick up from our hotel. We were picked uo driven to Playa Del Inglis for next stop then back past our hotel to Melonaras and past our original pick up on the way out. Given we only had 35 minutes at Botanical gardens this 20 minutes of wasted time would have been better used at a stop. Vegueta was a lovely stop and had a nice lunch on seafront to finish the day. As it turned out the weather in Las Palmas was excellent as we returned to torrential rain and winds down south. A good tour to get a feel of Las Palmas.
