A fantastic day out visiting places in the North of Lanzarote. Went to the craft centre at the farmers monument, the lava tube caves , a lovely lunch was 12€ each but we'll worth it for the buffet with wine included. The cactus garden was a lovely place to spend an hour, never seen as many amazing flowering cacti. Mirador looking over La Graciosa was well worth a visit.....amazing views and a nice latte. The house where Manrique lived after designing it himself was awesome. The man was a genius!!!! Finally our guide for the day.......he was born in the island, obviously loves the island, and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was amazing.. Cost €160 for both of us, but a full days tour, and worth every penny. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see amazing geology, and the handiwork of a genius.
We’re delighted to hear you had such a fantastic day discovering the north of Lanzarote. From the craft centre at the Monumento al Campesino, to the impressive lava tube caves at Cueva de los Verdes, it really is a day full of unique experiences. It’s lovely to know you enjoyed the buffet lunch and wine, as well as your time at the beautiful Jardín de Cactus the variety of flowering cacti there is truly special! 🌵 The views from the Mirador del Río overlooking La Graciosa are always unforgettable, and we’re so glad you had time to relax and enjoy them. Visiting the former home of César Manrique is definitely a highlight his vision and legacy are part of what makes Lanzarote so unique. We’re especially happy to hear how much you appreciated your guide’s knowledge and passion for the island. It truly makes a difference when someone shares their love for their home. Thank you for your recommendation it means a lot to us! We hope to welcome you back for another amazing experience in the future 🌋✨Kind regards, First Minute Travel
I signed up for the trip as is said max 15 people - well, that was a typo - it was a big bus tour. So the pick up took some time picking up at various locations on the island. That said, it was nice to see parts of the island I wouldn't have gone to, but it was unexpected. Thankfully on the way back, they split the group so that we didn't have to stop at every place on the way back. Otherwise, it was a really great day. We didn't stay on the bus for very long in-between stops. We were given a good amount of time at each place and were on our own to explore at our own pace. It was a good pace, the locations and the landscapes were amazing, it was a good overview of the island as well. Paul was a great guide. I really liked his translation style - he would say a few things in Spanish and then in English - keeping the conversation flowing in both languages. He was very passionate about the island and the things that we saw. Tony was an excellent driver navigating the big bus through narrow streets. Re mobility: there are a lot of stairs so take that into consideration. Re lunch: we stopped for a buffet lunch for 15 Euros and it was very good Re timing: it was a full day tour - I didn't get back until 6ish so plan accordingly.
A group of 11 of us took a tour with Paul and Manuel to The north of Lanzarote. It was an amazing trip with very informative Paul and super bus driver Manuel. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lanzarote. Please take this trip - you wont be disappointed and you will be privy to a stunner ng secret.

Our best day in Lanzarote. Awesome excursion fantastic and inspiring. Paul-Manuelle was an impeccable guide. Our driver Manuel, excellent and very friendly. A must do tour.
Wow, what an amazing trip the Premium package was. I cannot thank Pyono? enough for his skillful and safe driving through the narrow Timfanaya mountains. The sights were amazing. Accompanying Pyono was Michael the vivacious and knowledgeable companion that kept us entertained for hours. The whole tour was perfect in every way. The bus was a little late but only to be expected with so many tourists on board. We arrived back at the hotel late with our brains packed full of happy memories and knowledge of the experience. I would highly recommend First Minute Travel and tours to anyone. Fantastic experience, thank you.
I had never heard of Cezar Manrique before this holiday, but my partner wanted to go on a tour so I tagged along, and I am glad that I did. It was a full day that took in some pretty spectacular sights on Lanzarote all inspired and drIven by this hero of the island. Michael, our tour guide, who is a local here, had incredible knowledge of Cesar and his works, but also on the geology of the island. We learned about the volcanoes and their lava flows and how this literally shaped the Canary islands and Cesar’s works on Lanzarote. We travelled on a double decker coach, superbly driven by Luciano, so even as we drove around we could see the panoramic views all round. We booked this excursion through our hotel Barceló Teguise. If you get a chance I highly recommend seeking out this local company using local people as you are also contributing to the islands prosperity.
