The food is average at best. Asked for a ribeye to be medium rare but it came well done. The sauce saved it. I don’t expect a hight end wine but I don’t expect it to be lower end given it was dinner boat cruise. Band was fun. Do better on food and this cruise is five stars. I was a bit annoyed that the staff was more concerned about getting paid than providing a good experience.
The food was good, however the staff rushed everyone out of the dining area by 45 minutes into the cruise, that includes the following courses served & cleared in 45 minutes: salad, entree, dessert. I understand they need to clear & clean it all before we return to dock, but I'd like to finish the roll I'm eating without having my plate removed while I'm still eating.
First, I never leave reviews, but this one deserves a little heads up for future bookers. If you’re looking for a romantic dinner cruise, this is not it. Babies crying, noise level insane, packed in like a can of sardines, sing alongs with the band, gross bathrooms, and horrible drinks along with a well done steak that was delivered as “medium rare”. That will sum up my 17th wedding anniversary. Sorry for the bad review but if you’re looking for romance, I’d find something else. If you’re looking for a party, and subpar food, then book away.
This boat cruise was so much fun! The crew was fantastic, food was amazing, beautiful views and great music.
Great experience, put it on your to do list. Only negative was that the steak was of good quality, and decent proportion, they don't seem to know how to cook it to Medium Rare. All 4 of us ordered the same, one of us returned it because it was too well done. The 2nd one came back Less than Rare, Seriously?? Maybe just specify if you order the steak, even the table beside us had the same problem. Who knows, maybe they'll fire that cook before you get there, lol! Also the tipping at the end thing was kind of strange. Still you should go, Great cruise across the Lake to Emerald Bay, with very interesting narrative over the speakers. Also live band was good on one of decks. The multiple decks were cool too 😎
The ride was calm, weather was beautiful dinner was a little rushed. Band was fun. Overall great experience.
The boat and dinner were great! THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN VIATOR AND US WAS TERRIBLE! WE WERE NOT GIVEN SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION AS TO WHERE TO BE PICKED UP! One person told me I the parking lot at Lakeland village then we were told no at the bus stop on the other side then told by the bus driver no its shuttle and wasn’t sure, we finally just drove there and paid for parking! When we tried to call the number given for the person at the dock nobody answered as I tried for 3 days!
Great experience ! Enjoy ! Have fun ! Dress warm. Come hungry. Take lots of pictures. Beautiful scenery.
Wonderful Dinner Cruise. Food was excellent and the music was very entertaining. Definitely recommend it
Dinner is served first and it was great. After dinner you end up in Emerald Bay and learn of its history and see its beauty. We went on a perfect night. It was clear and 76 with sunset at 830pm. If you go a month before or after the summer solstice, it's perfect. Other times of the year it could be a little dark? Workers on the boat were very friendly and made you feel welcome.
