This full-day tour with a duration of about 8 hours gives you a unique chance to explore the Highlights of the stunning Lake Como (almost 30 miles long) with its enchanting landscape and famous historical villas in one day. This is an exclusive tour with maximum 8 participants: special attention to each single client ensures an unforgettable experience! After an introduction to Como’s rich history of about two thousand years, we will depart on a fast boat/hydrofoil to Villa Balbianello (40 min), setting place for Star Wars and James Bond Casino Royale. This instagramable spot will give you unforgettable memories! On the way we will point out all the famous villas like Villa Erba (Ocean’s 12), Villa of G. Clooney, Pizzo wedding venue of John Legend etc. From Lenno it is a short boat trip to the enchanting village Bellagio, where we will stop for lunch and an explorative walking tour. From here we will return to Como on a fast boat (45 m).

At the beginning of the tour from the main square in Como, Piazza Cavour, the visitors will be explained the main sights and tourist attractions of the city. Furthermore, they will receive tips and information about activities thay can do during their entire stay. Also practical questions of any kind will be answerted by the guide.
During the boat ride, travellers will have a chance to admire the particular landscape mix of Lake Como with its pre-alpine and Mediterranean features. Villages on the lakeshore will be pointed out and its historic/famous villas described (e.g. Villa d'Este, ex-villa of G. Versace, villa of George Clooney, Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi etc.).

We will visit the probably most beautiful villa on Lake Como, tell you its history of over 700 years and explain where the famous scenes of Star Wars (Attack of the Clones) and James Bond Casino Royal were filmed.
In this famous village we will walk through the narrow streets and picturesque staircases, enjoy the view from the Promenade Europa and stop at the L.F. Kennedy monument.
We will visit the most beautiful panoramic view point of Lake Como (view of the Pre-Alps and the villages Menaggio, Varenna and Tremezzo).
We will visit the main church in Bellagio, the Basilica di San Giacomo. Architectural style and main art pieces will be explained.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Elena and Violetta were our tour guides and Stefano was our skipper. Elena and Violetta were extremely knowledgeable about the historical and cultural significance of the sites we visited on the day. They also accommodated many questions throughout the day and also modified the pick-up/drop-off points along the lake for those with accessibility needs. We highly-recommend this tour for anyone interested in not only enjoying the sites, but also understanding the historical and cultural context which gives them meaning.
It’s a full day of adventure, lots of walking and wonderful sites. Our guide Michael was kind, knowledgeable and made sure everyone was following along.

This not private, you go on ferry's With hundreds of riders They meet you at pick up and then wait 45 mins for the ferry. You do visit the public villa without getting in any rooms which require a villa guide. 2.5 hours in Bellagio and back on the public ferry Very misleading when the say exclusive and private. Tour guide was pleasant enough. Basically you can ride the ferry both ways for 40euro and get off go to the villa for entry of 25 euro. This was priced more then double of other tours without any transportation from Milan A misleading ad and a theft of money. Dont waste your time or miney
Hello, First of all, we never mention "private" anywhere in our description. I am not sure where that expectation came from. This is clearly advertised as a shared small-group tour. Second, what does Milan have to do with us? Our tours depart from Como. If your preference was a large bilingual coach tour departing from Milan, there are many operators that offer that type of experience. Try to find one that goes to Villa Balbianello if you can. As for the 45-minute wait, we start earlier to ensure that everyone arrives on time and that the group does not risk missing the scheduled departure. Starting too close to the ferry's departure time would be irresponsible and could easily result in delays. During the wait we have an introduction about the City of Como. Finally, our inclusions, exclusions, transportation arrangements, and tour format are all clearly described in the listing before booking. By the way, this format as a private tour would cost on Lake Como EUR 3,000.
Greta was absolutely fantastic. She had a lot of helpful insights throughout the tour. She was very knowledgeable on the culture and history of the area we were visiting. If we ever take another tour, Greta will be our first choice.

Our guide, Francesca, was excellent. She knew everything about the sites we visited and explained details thoroughly. We had some rain early in our excursion and she gave us options on how we could adjust the schedule to avoid the weather. Prior to our arrival in Bellagio, she made a restaurant reservation for us so we walked right to our table from the ferry. Great day!

This was absolutely incredible! We were so fortunate to have Ricardo as our guide who was so knowledgeable, passionate and truly a delight to spend the full day with. He was the highlight of our trip and we are SO grateful for him and this entire experience. The perfect amount of touring, walking, enjoying and learning!
This was a long tour but got to see a lot. Our tour guide Ricardo was great. The boat trip is on a public ferry. The tour description omitted that and I felt that was deceptive. Too much time spent at Villa Babienella. This could be shorter. By the time we had lunch in Bellagio, it was 3pm!! Both the villa and Bellagio were great - just could have shorten the duration at the villa.
