This tour begins with pick-up from hotels located near the Plaza de Armas of Huaraz between 5:00 and 5:30 a.m. We travel by tourist transportation to the Llanganuco Valley, pass the Huascarán National Park checkpoint, and make a brief stop at the Chinancocha and Orconcocha lakes. We then continue to Cebollapampa, the starting point of the hike to Laguna 69, which takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the bright-blue lake beneath the impressive Chacraraju mountain. The return follows the same trail, with a 2-hour descent back to Cebollapampa, where the transport will be waiting to take the group back to Huaraz. Arrival is estimated between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m.

Regarding the agency hired, very poor communication and service, subcontracting is being abused in order to maximize profit and quality is suffering. Regarding the activity, they are beautiful postcards but you require greater physical exertion compared to other tours; without a doubt, the effort is worth it.
