We were promptly picked up at the hotel for the morning hike. Our guide was Samuel. He is very knowledgeable in history of Azores as well as the hiking trails . It was a hot day but took frequent breaks ! Great hike. Our plan changes as the hot spring was closed so Samuel quickly came up with a plan B, a trip to local liqueurs factory ! All good . Enjoys the day .

It was a great day and Samuel an excellent guide, always attentive and attentive to us. Besides, he was kind enough to lend me a raincoat because he had left mine at the hotel. He provided sticks to make our ride safer. The walk showed us a very beautiful part of the Nature of Sao Miguel, which Samuel explained very well in perfect Spanish and English.
Thank you so much. Even with the rain the hike was pretty good. Hope to see you again Best Regards Samuel Rego
Great hike to 4 different waterfalls. Our 6 teenagers had a blast swimming in and under the waterfalls and each was a nice break to get wet and rest before the next climb. It was a steep hike down and back up with every waterfall. Total trip was almost 5 miles. Started off walking through town then hit the trail and walked through beautiful vegetation. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable about the island and its plants.
Hello Thank you so much for the great review. I even enjoyed seeing them doing does crazy jumps. Best Regards Samuel Rego
Beautiful hike! It went thru forest, pasture land, and a beautiful waterfall. We learned about the hydroelectric plant and geothermal plant. Samuel was very knowledgeable about the country. Due to travel company issues, we were left without an afternoon tour and he stepped up. He took us around the island to the places we were going to miss. Very helpful! Can’t say enough positive things about him. Thank you Samuel!
Hello Thank you so much for the great review. I try as much as possible to be flexible so everybody as a great time in the Island. I enjoyed doing the tour with your beautiful family. Best Regards Samuel Rego
