Itinerary
Designed between 1906 and 1912, UNESCO-listed La Pedrera is one of Barcelona's icons, and was the last building that Gaudí worked on before he devoted his attention to La Sagrada Familia. Often called Casa Milà after the family who commissioned Gaudi to create it, the building’s official name translates as ‘the quarry’ in Spanish, and some of its most beautiful spaces are open to the public. Collect your audio guide and explore the eye-opening interiors at your leisure. With audio commentary providing rich detail, you’ll come away with a deep understanding of the building and Gaudi himself. Pass through the decorative lobbies and two courtyards of Passeig de Gràcia and Provenca with their swirling murals and mosaics. Explore the Exhibition Hall, the former residence of the building’s owners, the Milà family. Ascend to La Pedrera’s crowning glory: its roof terrace. Marvel at the corkscrew chimneys set against the sweeping backdrop of Barcelona.

What a lovely tour. We were greeted by friendly happy staff that looked after us. We were directed to the reception desk and given our headphones and then given instructions on where to go. I would highly recommend this tour.
The rooftop is the best part of this so go on a nice day. Internal exhibits show you overviews of many of Gaudi's other buildings and design philosophy. No wait.
Excellent activity to do with family, friends, or alone. You can appreciate Gaudi's talent and his way of thinking and working during the tour. It would be an excellent activity to do before going to the Sagrada Familia to understand his works and inspiration.
Another amazing Gaudi-designed building. The audio guide was good and staff were friendly. The apartments were decorated for the era in which they were built which was very interesting. The rooftop alone was worth the price of admission; absolutely stunning with amazing views. The gift shop was good too. A must for anyone interested in Gaudi and his work.
La Pedrera-Casa Mila is a definite must see in Barcelona. The attic space alone is incredible. If you need to use their elevators to get from floor to floor, they are very helpful!!! Don’t hesitate to go!!!!
An unforgettable experience to see Gaudí's primary work. Very organized the visit: audioguide was very important to understand the elements.
The audio guide was great and it was easy to follow. Excellent visit and very worth while
The house is amazing, however the self guided tour was not all that great. A bit off. I believe it would be a better experience if it was with an actual guide
Yesterday evening we visited Casa Milà, another very famous private apartment work by Antonio Gaudi, "The House of Mira". The overall experience was very interesting. Compared to the popular Sagrada Família, I might even recommend this tour. There are relatively few people here, so you can feel the high design philosophy and space details more easily. Whether it’s indoor spaces, hallways, courtyards, or the most famous roof areas, it’s full of unique curve shapes and shadow changes. As the evening sun changes, the entire building presents a very charming atmosphere, a wonderful and artistic experience.
The audio tour of Casa Mila is more than sufficient to understand Gaidi’s inspired work. The attic is unbelievably and the roof with its many chimneys are a delight to study. Highly recommend.
