Enjoyable being out on the ocean
The sea caves in La Jolla are nice, but there are too many kayakers in the group, too many other kayaking tours, along with snorkelers. You’re constantly fighting for space. There are traffic jams to go into the caves. Other tours get right next to you and the other tour guide was yelling over our tour guide, so we couldn’t hear what she was saying. If we had to redo, we wouldn’t book this tour.
Went for a bachelor party. Awesome experience. Guides were very professional and informative. Great group building activity.
I loved everything about this experience! From the ease of the reservation to the return of equipment it was a perfect day! The associates at check in were upbeat and friendly, as were the associates fitting us with the required equipment. Our guides were friendly, well educated to the surroundings and the nature of the ocean, as well as a bit comical! I was thrilled to go into a cave, even spotted a sea lion taking a siesta on a ledge in the early afternoon. I would definitely recommend this excursion and will go again next time I am in La Jolla! Thank you Everyone!!!
Jack and Liza were the best, employees of the month caliber tour, had a great time and didn’t fall in
A great way to experience the coast, see the Sea Caves and sea lions. We were guided by Chance and Taya. They were very pleasant and helpful. They made sure that everyone could handle their kayak and helped to adjust seating for several guests (including myself) to make sure they were comfortable. However, obviously, some effort is required on your part. The shop has plenty of lockers (slight fee), changing rooms and restroom. We easily found parking on a side street and enjoyed walking the town between the time we checked in and the start time. We had a very good lunch at the Brick & Bell Cafe that is two-doors down.
Crew was great. Friendly and helpful BUT tour was super disappointing. All we did was paddle out and back in with no cave or animal experience. We were not told this until the last minute and were unable to get a refund.
It was a fun experience not too scary as I imagined. My only complaint is that I barely got to hear anything the guide was saying about the history or fun facts about the area etc. Extremely hard to hear him if you’re far from him.
Great experience! Staff was fun and lively! They explain the instructions very clearly and really value your experience
Expect to have fun and get wet tour guides helpful knowledgeable and very friendly love every second of it
