We will depart Cordoba via Provincial Route No. 5, passing notable landmarks such as the Miryam Stefford monument, and the towns of Alta Gracia, Anisacate, La Bolsa, and Villa Ciudad de América. Our journey continues along the scenic banks of Los Molinos Lake, passing through the charming villages of Potrero de Garay and Los Reartes.
Next, we ascend into the Sierras Grandes, traveling through a picturesque region adorned with lush coniferous forests.
We pass through the charming village of Villa Berna on our way to La Cumbrecita, an enchanting Alpine-style village renowned for being one of the few pedestrian-only towns in the world. This unique destination offers a serene atmosphere. Established by German immigrants in the 1930s, the village exudes a distinct European charm with its chalet-style buildings, cobblestone streets, and lush green landscapes.
Visitors to La Cumbrecita can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming in natural pools, and exploring the surrounding forests. We will visit the balneario "La Olla", the traditional Hotel La Cumbrecita and the ecumenical chapel.
The Capilla Ecumenica, is located at the top of the forest road, in one of the highest areas of the village, designed by Helmut Cabjolsky, one of the pioneers of alpine design in La Cumbrecita.
We will then continue at Villa General Belgrano with its particular central European physiognomy.
Then we return to the provincial route N° 5 through La Curva del Viento (the Wind Curve), where we will enjoy a spectacular view of the Lake and Dam Los Molinos. The tour finishes in Cordoba around 7:00pm with the drop off at Cordoba hotels.

Absolutely fantastic tour with Augustina and Pablo as driver. Great time exploring the beautiful park and its views. Also had lunch and time for chocolate and beer. Super fun
I think the first stop at the dam could have been. Eliminated and mid time spent in the last place.
Really good day out. Efficient pick up. Julietta kept us to time without rushing us. Her commentary was excellent and she did it in both Spanish and English. So double the work. The villages were lovely and the driver was really good. I wish I’d bought a swim suit.
A very characteristic town that also has everything to enjoy holidays in even online jobs.- Totally recommend it for you to go and meet it.
This is a fun day trip full of sightseeing from a van - the trip there was a couple hours, which is a long ride but worth the time and there’s lots to see along the way. Augustine and Armando, our guide and driver, provided not only excellent historical information but also additional recommendations of things to do while in Cordoba and Argentina. We visited two German villages, getting both a small village and midsize town experience. The village also had a walk to see a waterfall included. We had lunch there as well. Shopping was fun, be mindful of the siesta which caused many to close during the afternoon.
BEAUTIFUL THERE ARE MANY PLACES TO VISIT VILLA GRAL BELGRANO CALAMUCHITA LOS REARTES LA SUMBRECITA VILLA RAMPAL RESERVOIR DIWUE LOS MOLINOS
We went to the summit. You have to leave the car in the driveway and they charge $10,000, it's to maintain the place. We were given a lot of information by Marcela Rojo, a divine total Worth visiting
Fabulous outing but like another reviewer mentioned, not sure why I was charged $100 more than seemingly other passengers who booked? Think it’s because I selected English but tbh there’s not a ton to “translate”. You spend some time at the dam, then time on your own in La Cumbrecita and same in Villa Belgrano so there’s not much info you can’t google etc if you don’t grasp Spanish
My friend and I went on this tour on 27/12, a van picked us up in the apartment where we were staying and, for almost 10 hours, we can get to know incredible landscapes, the interior and the history of Cordoba, through the guide, Gaston, who told various things about the Province. First we stopped at Los Molinos, it was a very quick stop, it's a lake and we have a pretty view, from the side of some fairy (which didn't even have time to meet). The next stop was in La Cumbrecita, which is a very interesting village with lots of cool things to see and do, as well as souvenirs to buy. It's the best part of the walk. Afterwards, we went to Villa General Belgrano, despite the interesting architecture, there is not much to do there. It's more to buy things, because the maximum you have is a tower to climb for 2000 pesos and a little practice where they do the Oktoberfest. Given that, if you don't want to buy anything, I don't think it's such a cool stop. But overall, this was our best trip in Cordoba. It was worth it.
Very beautiful landscapes, the very stately village with a deep German tradition, very rich coffee cakes and their traditional products, the only negative the Creole ruins everything.
