Upon arrival, you will first be guided through Tondaya, a machiya (an authentic and traditional wooden townhouse) that is nationally registered as an Important Cultural Property. Tondaya is a treasure trove of historically valuable artifacts and stories, and our knowledgeable staff look forward to sharing its rich history with you. After the tour, you will be served an authentic Kyoto-style kaiseki meal prepared by a seasoned Kyoto chef. In keeping with the traditions of Kyoto cuisine, the chef carefully selects ingredients and adjusts the menu according to the season and the occasion. Please enjoy this multi-course cuisine while gazing out at a beautifully illuminated garden. The harmonious blend of soft lighting and the refined atmosphere of this historic townhouse creates a truly enchanting dining experience.
