Horrible!! The kimono & photo shooting package apparently did not work on the website. They would not refund the money, let me rebook or help with getting a photographer. So I paid an exorbitant amount of money for my family to wear kimonos for 1 hour!!! We basically ran to the closest cherry blossom and temple at the end of the road, tried to take some selfies and then had to run back. It was more of a stressful experience than an enjoyable one. Then when we returned, they didn’t even help my 3 sons, age 6-12 undress. They just left them there alone in the room. They were so unaccommodating and unhelpful. They even wanted to charge another 4000 if we wanted to keep the kimonos longer. I was in tears, the boys were upset. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! There are so many to choose from, literally ever 100 meters that you can find somewhere better and nicer.
we loved this activity. the ladies dressing us were efficient and skilled. are somewhat larger (big and tall by japanese standards) and they still had a nice selection of options for us. we also have dreadlocks and they were still able to style our hair well.
