Delicious & Informational food tour! Must DO!

Eri was so thoughtful, helpful, and personable! She was super knowledgeable and explained the history of the Nishiki market, and some of the cultural significance of the food we found at the market. We tried stuff we had bypassed the day before, so booking a tour like this is especially worth it, and since it’s private, you don’t have to worry about a big group as you battle crowds! Truly a must do when you’re in the Kyoto area!

Must visit

You shouldn't miss it. It's not just a food market but also for shopping. The guide was so supportive and I'm grateful to have him along. Good food. Being a foodie, i relished.

Maybe not worth the price.

This tour was interesting but I have to say it was not worth the money we paid. The guide just walked us through the market and we really did not learn much of anything different than if we just walked through the market by ourselves. She was nice and kind but you can easily walk through the market yourself. The tour did not offer much value added.
