Awesome!! David and Tony were great, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was provided with a map before I left to go hiking, and the second bus was timed perfectly for me to do the Sphinx Rock loop. Would definitely recommend, especially in good weather.

We're thrilled to hear you had such a great experience with us. David and Tony will be delighted to know their knowledge and helpful service made your day even more enjoyable. We're pleased the hiking map and bus schedule worked perfectly for your Sphinx Rock Loop walk, allowing you to make the most of your time on kunanyi / Mount Wellington. Thank you for your walk recommendation for future passengers planning to hike. We hope to welcome you back on board for another adventure the next time you're in Hobart. Many thanks. This experience was so easy. Jumped on the bus in town, the driver was lovely, and I felt safe with him driving up the mountain. We had blue, clear skies and no wind. Glad we did the 9.30 am trip, as when we left the top of Mt Wellington, the weather changed, and cloud cover came over, and the temperature dropped to 8 degrees. So our timing was great. There was enough time to walk down to the viewpoints and take photos as well. Well worth the trip if you are thinking about it.
Hello Janine. Thank you for your fantastic review! We're delighted to hear that you found the experience so easy and enjoyable from start to finish. It's wonderful to know that our driver made you feel welcome and safe on the journey up the mountain. You certainly chose the perfect departure time. As many locals know, conditions on kunanyi / Mount Wellington can change very quickly, and it sounds like you were fortunate to enjoy the mountain at its best with clear blue skies, calm conditions, and spectacular views before the weather rolled in later in the day. We're also pleased that you had enough time to explore the viewpoints, take photographs, and make the most of your visit to the summit. Thank you for recommending the experience to future visitors. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you aboard again on your next visit to Hobart. Many thanks. Kind regards, Fiona.Tour Manager

We hope you enjoyed your adventures beyond the tour and look forward to welcoming you back again in the future. Many thanks. Kind regards. Fiona. Tour Manager
One of those days where you couldn't see a thing from the top of kunanyi (cloud and drizzle all around), but still amazing. Come for the scenery, stay for the solitude.
Hello barefoot k. Thank you for your wonderful review. While the weather on kunanyi / Mt Wellington can sometimes be unpredictable, we’re so pleased to hear you still found the experience amazing. There’s certainly something special about the atmosphere of the mountain in the cloud and drizzle, and we love your description — “come for the scenery, stay for the solitude.” Even on misty days, kunanyi offers a unique and memorable experience. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again for another visit to the mountain in the future. Many thanks. Kind regards. Fiona. Tour Manager
Great experience to see Hobart’s top sites. Would definitely recommend. The Mt Wellington trip was brilliant, make sure you dress warmly!
Dear Emma_B, Thanks for your awesome 5-star review—we’re really pleased you enjoyed seeing Hobart’s top sights and that the Kunanyi/Mt Wellington trip was a highlight. And yes, great advice—conditions on the mountain can be quite a bit colder than in the city, so warm clothing is definitely the way to go. We really appreciate the recommendation, and hope to see you again. Kind regards, Bianca C. Guest Relations Manager
Tony was terrific - he gave us a great appreciation of kunanyi, including the history, landscapes, and significance - and his puns were top notch.
Dear Panda P, Thanks for your awesome 5-star review—we’re really pleased you enjoyed the trip. Tony will appreciate your wonderful feedback, especially about the commentary. It’s great to hear you got a good sense of Kunanyi and that his puns landed as well! Thank you for travelling with us! Kind regards, Bianca C. Guest Relations Manager
Tony was the most knowledgeable guide I've experienced in Tassie...he even knew where to find the snakes in our journey. Lots of good "dad" jokes and plenty of historical photos to make it fun & educational too!
Dear Karen K, Thank you for your great 5-star review! We’re so pleased to hear Tony made such a strong impression — his knowledge of Tasmania (and even where to spot a snake or two!) really does make the trip memorable. It’s great to know you enjoyed the mix of history, photos and of course the dad jokes along the way. Thanks for travelling with us and for taking the time to share your experience! Kind regards, Bianca C. Guest Relations Manager
Tony was our driver and guide. He was terrific. He explained many sights along the way. We made various stops along the way, giving us the opportunity to see all that was available along the way. He made suggestions for places to eat when we arrived back in Hobart. And gave us the name of a wonderful chocolate store. Tony is an asset to the company!
Dear Stevie_S, Thank you for your lovely 5-star review! We’re so pleased to hear you had such a great trip with Tony. His knowledge of the area and the way he shares it along the journey really does make the experience special. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the stops along the way and that his recommendations for places to eat — and the chocolate shop — helped round out your visit to Hobart. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to Tony, he’ll really appreciate it. Thanks for travelling with us and for taking the time to share your experience! Kind regards, Bianca C. Unfortunately the view from Mt Wellington on the day we were in Hobart was nonexistent. Cool, rainy and bleak. However the trip was made memorable by Tony’s fun and informative patter. A great guy. You will pick up more dad jokes than you will be able to carry. The hop on hop off bus was pretty typical. Comfortable seats, audible recorded commentary. A good way to get an overview of Hobart. With routes only every hour you will want to be sure that the area or areas in which you depart the bus will have enough to do and see to occupy you for an hour.
Dear OrlanDave, Thank you for your review. While it’s always nice to have clear views from the summit of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington, the weather can certainly be unpredictable up there! We’re glad to hear that despite the conditions, Tony helped make the trip enjoyable with his commentary — and of course a few of his famous dad jokes. It’s also great to hear you found the hop-on hop-off bus a comfortable way to get an overview of Hobart and make the most of the city. Thanks for travelling with us and for taking the time to share your experience. Kind regards, Bianca C. Guest Relations Manager
Excellent way for me to sightsee the peak of Mt Wellington/kunanyi without needing a car, and then also go hiking, meeting the bus later in the day to return to the city. Booking was easy, communications good. Bus clean and comfortable. Both driver/guides helpful, informative & friendly. Special shout out to Fiona in Operations who went above and beyond to help me with some lost property - much appreciated!
Dear kymw120, Thank you for your lovely 5-star review! We’re so glad the tour worked well for you — being able to visit the summit of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington and still have time to head off for a hike before catching a later bus back is a great way to experience the mountain. It’s great to hear the booking process and communication were smooth, and that you found the bus comfortable and the drivers helpful and informative. We’ll also be sure to pass your kind words on to Fiona— she’ll really appreciate the shout out! Thanks again for travelling with us and for taking the time to share your experience.
