The tour was great, however it could have done with less stops to gimic shops such as chocolate and other foods. The prices at these shops were stupidly high, and aimed at tourists. More landmark and cultural stops would have been preferred.
The guide was very kind and resourceful. The original planned stay at Batu Cave was 20 minutes, but I was able to stay for an hour and a half, so I was able to climb 272 steps and drink coffee while watching Buddha in a cafe. The tour was scheduled to last four hours, but it took five hours. However, I am happy to visit so many famous places in KL.
Fantastic tour. Hit up Batu Caves and I think the hour we spent there was just right to hit everything else. Some of the best insights we got were not at the actual locations but while Abdul Rahman was driving and just telling us about Malaysian history. I think my favorite stop was actually at the historical section of Kuala Lumpur where we learned about the city's founding due to tin mining operations. Our tour was led by the legendary Abdul Rahman, who was so enthusiastic and such a character. For the rest of the trip my gf and I kept saying to each other, "Remember..." in his memorable voice. There aren't many reviews on this tour but it is indeed the same one from Exotic Asia Holidays, which I found through Google, so this isn't some random fly-by-night tour operator. It was very well put together.
Today we had a super fun tour with a very enthusiastic guide. We only had one day to visit Kuala Lumpur and we looked forward to seeing where the guide took us. He kept telling me, but there was also a lot to tell. Highly recommended for someone or for a couple who is in Kuala Lumpur for a very short time. You will be driven around in a good bus with air conditioning and dropped off at beautiful places in front of the door for a short tour.
It gives an excellent screen to know Kuala Lumpur. Takes you around iconic places and loved the escape to Batu caves!!!
