Visit one of the most important and most popular museums in Krakow. Schindler’s Enamel Factory, located on 4 Lipowa street, is a part of the Historical Museum of Krakow. The main exhibition title is ''Kraków under Nazi Occupation 1939–1945'. Please, note, it is not biographical museum. The museum exposition is dedicated to occupied Krakow and reveals many aspects of the life of people under the rule of the Nazis.

Overall, I am glad I took this tour of Schindler's Factory Museum. We had a splendid guide and she knew so much. Also, we lucked out in that our group was fairly small and therefore we had less background noise. While the majority of the tour is an excellent history museum related to the Polish Jews and WWII, the best parts are those that focused on Schindler and his gradual change and recognition of he dangers of fascism. The best portions of the museum and tour are those where the guide points out areas and items which are original or were from the factory when Jews were working there. Also, there were a few places in the Spielberg film, Schindler's List, which were actually filmed there and our guide pointed out how those spaces are not quite the same as they were back in the 1940s as they are now or in the film. Overall, however, I greatly enjoyed the tour--and they have an excellent informative gift shop center with a good cafe. And I did learn a lot about Schindler as a person and how he helped the Jews who worked for him and Poland during WWII.

The guide was very good but we felt we needed more time to read things and look at more pictures etc. Maybe booking ourselves would've been better for us.

This experience was not what we expected. Although it was a factory, it is actually a museum which follows the timeline of Nazi occupation in Poland with very well documented photographs, maps, propaganda leaflets etc. Would recommend having a tour guide as you really need one to gain an insight of what it was like at the time and to sift through the endless information that is on offer. The timeline is on a daily basis, highlighting just how quickly the city was occupied.

The Schindler factory is a must see if you’re in Krakow. It’s very well laid out in how it tells the story of pre-war, the occupation and what happened afterwards. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about what she spoke of and I believe may have had some family experience with what happened. The only thing I would say could’ve been better is the volume in the headphones we were wearing, it was difficult to hear at times with the ambient noise. But overall great tour that I would highly recommend.

Great walk through history of Poland during occupation but not a lot of information about Schindlers factory, what he did or why and didn’t even get to see the factory Our guide was very knowledgable but we learnt very little about him or the factory
