Located right on Ao Nam Mao Beach not far from Ao Nang, this is a perfect location for horse riding. The beach is always very quiet apart from local fishermen searching for crabs, amazing considering it’s only ten minutes from the touristic center in Ao Nang. For riding horses this really is the perfect place.

Pickup Locations & Times
Get picked up from your hotel in Ao Nang and Ao Nam Mao. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking. If you stay in Krabi Town, there is an extra fee of 200 THB per person which has to be paid on the day of the trip. If you stay in Klong Muang Beach, there is an extra fee of 200 THB per person which has to be paid on the day of the trip. If you stay in Tubkaek Beach, there is an extra fee of 200 THB per person which has to be paid on the day of the trip. If you stay at Railay Beach, we offer a pickup service from the boat ticket office at Ao Nam Mao Pier which is just a 15-minute longtail boat ride from Railay East. If you stay in Tonsai Beach, please come to the meeting point at Phra Nang Inn reception in Ao Nang. If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang.

We had a really enjoyable morning doing the 1hour ride. The pick up and drop off service was very convenient. The guide was so pleasant and took numerous videos and photos of us on the ride. The horses were well looked after and you can tell that they care for them. The stables were clean and the horses all had plenty forage. The hacking loop was fantastic with a look around the farmland area, a canter track and plenty spots to gallop up and down the beach. The bottle of water was well appreciated after. Thank you so much, this was a most enjoyable experience!
My 8 year old daughter & I had the best horse riding experience on our 2hr ride on the beach & through the countryside. The guides were amazing, & reasonably priced
Really enjoyed the horse ride 😇 All the men were lovely and made sure I was safe as I hadn’t ridden much before hand. The young man was friendly and entertaining as his horse moon loved to run! Highly recommend.
I went on a 2-hour ride on a great horse called Euro. Really recommend a trip with him. We started by riding on the beach, a lot of armed gallop, before it became a nice round in forest terrain and along the road. Recommended. We also had a stop along the way where d was served ice-cold water.
Picked up sharp on time by a friendly boy. Ridden to the Farm and my horse was already there. No one else was there today so I went with the counselor. Fantastically nice ridden on a very nice horse. Well arranged and really value for money!! Super experience!!
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. On our way to the ride after getting picked up we had a little emergency. So we asked if we could swing by the pharmacy. They didn’t have too but made a pit stop on the way for us. The horses are well taken care of healthy and well fed. It’s really hard to keep weight on animals in this heat and all horses were round and full of energy. Also the horses we rode loved going in the water and racing on the beach. As a person who grew up having horses and riding all of my life. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do.
The staff were awesome. Not only did we get to ride on the beach but we also rode throughout the countryside. Even got to have a gallop up the beach. Our guide was the best very helpful and friendly

What I liked was that even though the 4 of us have completely different experiences (2 never been on a horse before, one of us an intermediate and one very experienced rider) we were given horses after our experience. We rode as a group but the experienced riders got to split from group and do cantering both in the country side and on beach. We did 2 hours and got stunning views and brilliant riding. My horse were excellent, well ridden and cleat, liked speed but still not hard to ride. Can highly recommend
Please do not support this. Horseback riding should not be a thing in Thailand if horses aren’t properly taken care of. I’m pretty sure there is animal abuse happening here. My horse kept stopping to eat along the way and there was an incident with the instructor’s horse. He used a string to guide my horse forward because the horse refused to go (most likely tired and probably not even fed properly). That string ended up tying around his horse and the tail. I’m attaching one photo I managed to take of the ordeal where you can see his horse fallen on the ground. His horse ended up pretty much biting the guy. Someone came to cut the string but neither of the horses were very responsive afterwards. It was traumatic. It really spooked my horse and I tried to help but I honestly slid off the back and distanced myself from the situation. I only got 15-20 min of my ride so I’m here to warn you against booking this experience. It’s really not that fun or great nor worth it. Go for a walk instead. Animal cruelty is not okay and these horses should be left alone. I don’t think that there is a good relationship between horse and human here. I’m from Texas, and I have never seen horses being handled like this or acting this way.
