The Korcula Wine & Sightseeing Tour takes you through the Smokvica region, the ancient heart of Korcula's wine country, in an open-top panoramic minibus. Two intimate family estates and one cooperative winery — three completely different stories about how wine is made on this island. The tasting focuses on grape varieties found nowhere else on earth. Pošip, Korcula's golden signature white. Grk, grown exclusively in the sandy soils of Lumbarda. Rukatac, an indigenous red quietly disappearing as old vines give way. Plavac Mali, Croatia's celebrated bold red. Honey, liqueurs and olive oil complete the tasting. Along the way — the Korcula town viewpoint, hidden inland hamlets, and the breathtaking view of bay of Pupnatska Luka. Departs 11:00, returns 15:00. Free pickup within 5 km of Korcula Town.

Guests from Orebić on the Pelješac peninsula are welcome to join — if you are crossing to Korčula by ferry, we will pick you up directly at Dominče ferry port. If you are arriving by boat, the meeting point is at our agency office in Korčula Town port — less than 5 minutes walk from the dock.

We went with two friends, booked only the day before and were picked up by our relaxed guide. This was more than a wine tour as we got to see most of the island, learned some history and able to do so in a short time. We visited 3 wineries that provided far more generous tastings than we are used to in Australia! We visited two lovely smaller family wineries and one larger more corporate winery. The smaller two won in my books. While the open bus was hot in 37 degree summer heat, we survived and had a wonderful day. We only had 6 on our tour which made it personal and special. If full, I imagine it may have been a little different..but we’ll take the fortune we had!!
This just isn’t a wine tour but also a guide to the Island of Korčula. Our guide was both informative and fun to spend time with. Overall an excellent wine tour. Wineries visited were each different and enjoyable and we didn’t finish until 4pm. Just be aware we booked direct @€75 per person, which is a substantial discount to the price on TA and Get Your Guide.

Very good, would recommend having a big breakfast beforehand as after 10 wines and 2 spirits you definitely know you’ve been! Sitting towards the back of the bus gave some much appreciated shade as it was a very sunny day. Book directly with the operator to get the best price - we saved almost €30 per person compared to booking through a third party app!

No water and no access to food. We sat at the two wineries for over an hour each with no place to eat or get water. The guide had very broken English. I did catch about 60 percent of what he said. The biggest problem? We arrived at our third winery after four hours! It was listed as a four hour tour, but the driver acted like it was a six hour tour. The driver/guide took us to a restaurant in the middle of nowhere at the end of the tour. It was a poor experience because we were not told to bring water or sunscreen with us. We did not expect for it to last longer than four hours. We left the tour group when we arrived at the isolated restaurant and ate in Old Town Korcula over looking the sea. I would recommend skipping this tour and drinking local wine in Old Town Korcula.

Our listing clearly states that this is a wine and sightseeing tour with snacks, plus olive oil, honey, and local pastry tastings — lunch is not included, and never has been. You messaged us the same day you booked to ask about lunch, and we confirmed there is none, exactly as the description says. At that point a refund was available on request, no questions asked. Water is served alongside the wine at every winery, and more is provided to anyone who asks. As for language, our guide lived in the United States for years, speaks fluent English, and has been the cornerstone of this tour for over a decade, earning praise from guests across the globe. The tastings can occasionally run a little longer when the group is enjoying the wineries — that's the nature of the experience. We'll also review our listing once more to make sure it clearly reminds guests to bring water, a hat, and sunscreen, since the tour is a drive in an open-top cabrio minibus through the Mediterranean summer. We've welcomed guests on this tour for more than 10 years, and we've received three 5-star reviews from guests who were on the same tour with you yesterday.
