The Chemka Hot Springs are an oasis in the hinterland of the Kilimanjaro region, situated 40 kilometers from Moshi. At these idyllic underground springs with the crystal clear, turquoise water, you can enjoy the perfect rest after a Strenuous busy week. But also for day-trippers, they are an ideal destination. Whether it's the old, the young, the quiet or the active, the Chemka Hot Springs invite you to linger, swim and explore. The pond is very deep, in some places up to 10 meters, but the water is so clear that you can see the bottom well all the time. On the shore under lush trees you can camp, enjoy your snacks or soak up the sun.

An Oasis in the Backcountry The Chemka Hot Springs are an oasis in the hinterland of the Kilimanjaro region, situated 40 kilometers from Moshi. At these idyllic underground springs with the crystal clear, turquoise water, you can enjoy the perfect rest after a Strenuous busy week. But also for day-trippers, they are an ideal destination. Whether it's the old, the young, the quiet or the active, the Chemka Hot Springs invite you to linger, swim and explore. The pond is very deep, in some places up to 10 meters, but the water is so clear that you can see the bottom well all the time. On the shore under lush trees you can camp, enjoy your snacks or soak up the sun. The road to the Hot Springs is very bumpy and windy, so driving takes more than two hours. During the trip you can enjoy the wonderful scenery and see the authentic Tanzanian life. When we arrive at the Hot Springs you can swim, relax, eat your lunch and enjoy the sun. If you'd like, while you are swimming we can be preparing a barbecue for you. Additionally, if you desire, we can overnight at the Hot Springs with a camp fire and a bush dinner. Everywhere around the springs you can see baboons and different monkeys.

Kikuletwa Hot Springs is a dream place¡¡¡ The water is a deep blue and so clear that you can see small fish in it. As soon as we got into the water, all the tiredness seemed to melt away. The most fun part was hanging from the tree branches and jumping into the water. Great Image Expedition made the whole arrangement hassle-free-the car, the food, the comfortable seating areas were all in place. At the end of the day, I felt completely refreshed.

We went to Kikuletwa Hot Springs with the Great Image Expedition, and the experience was really great. Raymond's team organized the entire trip beautifully. The car was comfortable, the guide was very attentive, and everything went on time. The moment of getting into that clear blue water of the hot water fountain is not to be forgotten - on the one hand rest, and on the other hand the fun of swimming. It was also very enjoyable to sit in the shade of the surrounding trees and eat snacks. There's nothing better after a busy week.

Kikuletwa Hot Springs is really great for a day out of the city bustle. The water is so clear that even fish can be seen inside. I was floating for hours. The team of the Great Image Expedition made all the arrangements - from the jeep to the food to the comfortable seating area - everything was fine. At the end of the day, I was completely relaxed.
