Timothy Hill Lookout Point is one of St. Kitts’ most scenic spots, offering stunning panoramic views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. From this hilltop, you can see the narrow stretch of land connecting the Southeast Peninsula to the main island, with lush hills, turquoise waters, and even the island of Nevis in the distance. It’s a popular photo stop and a must-see for anyone exploring the island.

120 min

Spend (2 Hours) on Cockleshell Bay Beach Imagine this: You step onto soft, powdery Brown sand that stretches along a gently curving bay. The water is a brilliant shade of turquoise—calm, warm, and crystal clear, perfect for wading or snorkeling along the shore, Good snorkeling near the rocky edges where colorful fish cluster, with water sports options such as Jet ski rentals, paddle boarding. Just offshore, you can see Nevis rising up like a green velvet dome, giving the whole view a picture-perfect postcard feel. What you'll experience: A peaceful, easygoing vibe—less commercialized than some of the other beaches Locals and tourists alike lounging under umbrellas or floating in the sea, Reggae music drifting from Reggae Beach Bar & Grill and other Beach bars, where you can grab freshly grilled lobster, jerk chicken, and a cold Carib beer and relax in the warm Caribbean sea

120 min

Spend (2 hours) on South Friars Bay Beach Picture this: A golden arc of beach nestled between two lush green hills. The water is calm and glistens with deeper blues. This beach has a more upscale feel thanks to Carambola Beach Club, a chic spot with white canopies, sunbeds, and gourmet island-fusion cuisine. What you'll experience: A blend of comfort and nature—you can go from sipping wine at Carambola to snorkeling just a few steps away, Good snorkeling near the rocky edges where colorful fish cluster, A more adult-friendly vibe, with elegant cocktails, quiet music, and a relaxed crowd with water sports options such as Jet ski rentals, paddle boarding, and a few smaller beach bars farther down the beach if you want something more local and laid-back

60 min

Spend (1 hour) on Frigate Bay Beach (South Frigate Bay – “The Strip”) Now picture this: A lively stretch of beach lined with colorful beach bars and music playing day and night. Locals, tourists, and students from the nearby university all mingle here. You’ll find BBQ grills smoking, bartenders mixing rum punches, and beach chairs laid out for anyone who wants them. What you'll experience: A buzzing, sociable vibe with Easy swimming in calm Caribbean waters

A nice tour of a variety of the island’s beaches and landmarks

We lucked out, with no cruise ships in port, and got the tour all to ourselves. Our driver, Kenva, was very friendly and even offered to take some pictures for us when we checked out the scenic overlook at the beginning of our tour. Through no fault of our tour, we did deal with some seaweed at the first beach we went to, Cockleshell, aka, Reggae Beach. Our next stop, Carambola Beach Club, we got another benefit of it being a non-cruise ship day, and paid a greatly reduced price for our beach chairs. The lunch and drink options were nice, and the service was great. The next beach we went to, near Frigate Bay, in front of the Shiggidy Shack, was alright. It’s nice if you’re looking for very calm water, but that was the silver lining, in my humble opinion. The last beach was a cool experience, as I’ve never been on a black sand beach before. There is a ton of sea glass if you’re looking for a small souvenir. There’s a bit of an incline to deal with to get to and from the beach, so it’s a good idea to have something better than flip flops. The last stop is purely for the scenery and sea glass, so don’t expect any sunbathing at this beach, but you should have had your full at this point. We really enjoyed our tour with Kenva and Ken’s special rum punch was delicious. If you’re like us, and experiencing a beach at your resort on the Atlantic side that is plagued by stinking seaweed, this tour is a great opportunity to get some time in the waters of the Caribbean and see some of the beautiful island of St. Kitts outside of the confines of the resort.

Great Way To Experience Multiple Beaches On the Island!

Ken was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The addition of the drinks was well worth the price. The black sand beach was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this excursion!

Great Beach Hopping Trip!

After contacting this company personally, Ken made room for us on this excursion. It was exactly as advertised - we went to three beaches plus the black sands sea glass beach, all in an air conditioned van. Our guide, “the other Ken”, was very helpful, informative, and friendly! I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to spend the day enjoying the water and sun!

Best way to see four of the most popular beaches on St. Kitts by car

This is a great way to see four beaches on St. Kitts by car. Nick, our driver, was a great driver! He gave us a history of the island, and we were able to visit four beaches which we would probably have not done on our own. We spent enough time at each beach based on what there was to do. While lunch was not provided, we did stop at one of the nicest places for lunch/dinner with an ocean view. Nick arrived early and accommodated our requests. Water, sodas and beer was provided at most stops.

Great way to explore St. Kitts beaches and culture

Our driver Nick arrived on time, the van was so clean and hebwas a great driver. We were able to see all the popular beaches on the island and he also gave us a great history of the island. We had plenty of water, beer and rum punch. I would highly recommend this trip if you want to see the island and explore the beautiful beaches.

Ok, but would not do, again.

Service was ok. Tour operators were nice, but very limited narration or interaction with guests. Cockleshell Beach and Friar's Bay were full of seaweed (sargasm) and not good to swim in. Beaches were piled with it. Frigate Bay was nice and minimal weeds. Very peaceful and relaxing, here. The last stop was Sea Glass Beach. It was a steep, rugged path down to the beach. We did not go down. Those who did said it was not worth it.

Operator response

Thank you Ben for your feedback and for choosing us. We’re happy you enjoyed Frigate Bay and appreciated our team’s service. We sincerely apologize that some beach conditions and parts of the excursion did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, seasonal sargassum seaweed can sometimes affect certain beaches across the Caribbean. We also appreciate your comments regarding guest interaction and the Sea Glass Beach stop, and we will use your feedback to improve future experiences.
