Jimmy, of the Stewart clan, (Jimmy Stewart?) was amazingly helpful and extremely kind and entertaining. He spent more time than we expected with us and made certain that we saw everything we wished to see in Glasgow. I highly recommend seeing the Kelpies and taking a lift on the Falkirk Wheel! The Kelingrove Museum is a fun museum, with a smattering of interesting items from local animals to an important Dali painting.
Sergio was our guide and was very knowledgeable about Scotland. My husband and I were the only ones on this tour and we couldn't have asked for more. You cant go wrong booking with this company.
We had a wonderful day with the irrepressible Jimmy from Serco Tours. Informative, amusing and ever helpful, Jimmy had planned ( and was able to adjust) a day full of delights- especially catering to our interest in Mackintosh’s Glasgow. We even had recitations of Burns from our kilt wearing guide. A fantastic guide and day!
A lovely day out .. as we were the only passengerswe did the trip in a Merc. which gave us more flexibility with timing. Great conversations !
The tour was great. We covered a lot of ground but did not feel rushed. It was left up to me how much time I wanted to spend at each stop. Driver was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The Falkirk Wheel was amazing and the Kelpies were breathtaking.
We were excited to see that we were the only people going on the tour. It just got better when we met out driver/tour guide z Jimmy. He was knowledgeable. Kind, funny and kept a running review of places we passed by. He gave us back stories about the places we visited and even took is to a great museum in time to hear an amazing pipe organ concert. We hit î off and laughed and learned our way through the day. I would highly recommend this tour and tour guide. I always check to see if Viator provides a tour when we travel to New places. They never disappoint.
Highly recommend this tour run by Serca Tours. Professional and personable driver, very efficient use of time and very flexible according to client’s preferences about time spent at each stop. Loved the Kelpies, the Falkirk Wheel, Kelvingrove and the Cathedral. Note that the driver does not act as a guide at the sights, but is very attentive in answering questions between stops, ensuring you’re dropped at the entry and showing you where he’ll be waiting upon your return. A very enjoyable day.
We lucked out and were the only people booked on this tour. Jimmy made it perfect and personal. Jimmy, we owe you the rest of your appreciation gift. Come see us.
This was a great way to visit Falkirk and a couple of highlights in Glasgow. Although we rode the wheel, it was not an active experience. I would suggest observing it from outside and using the time saved to spend more time in Glasgow.
Wonderful way to see and experience a true marvel of mankind. Relaxing and enjoyable. Views from tour give you an excellent flavor of Scotland. Added Glasgow Cathedral stop was magnificent! Flawless round trip from Greenock, Scotland Cruise Ship Terminal
Thank you for your review. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your day with us. We hope that we might see you again someday. Warmest Regards, Chiara
