Kayak Antelope Canyon and hike, at Lake Powell

Description
We paddle in top-quality sit-inside kayaks, fitted for your comfort and stability. Our guides are WFR, CPR/First Aid, and Kayak 101 certified, and every tour begins with a 30–40 minute orientation before launch. (The time on your ticket is launch time.) Enjoy stunning canyon views, professional guides, and quality gear on this up to 7-mile paddle and hike adventure. We pause at the halfway point for snacks, photos, and optional swimming. Important: For your safety and enjoyment, please do not travel more than 150 miles on the day of your tour. Guests traveling long distances often arrive fatigued; we strongly recommend staying locally the night before. Guests must be able to swim to participate in water activities. Please check in the day before during business hours for weather updates and gear fitting. Paddle Express is committed to ensuring your comfort, safety, and an unforgettable experience on the water.

Trip was cancelled at booking time. Disaster! But I received money back
No tour conducted and the refund has not been done yet. Despite several reminders, there was no respond on our request to go for the kayaking.
Yes I apologize for the unprofessional experience as the acting new owner of this joint venture agreement has been very unprofessional in regards to this issue and communicating properly with guest on this platform. Paddle Express apologizes and thank you for your feedback on this matter as it shows bad faith on her part because she was actually updating other products and services on different platforms. She even colluded with another company and tried to sell TripAdvisor / Viator customers tickets to them. It’s really unfortunate. The refund has been processed actually and the cancellation was processed by the day of your tour. Have a great day
Excursions from Page are definitely worthwhile. We could not see the canyon doing the kayaking tour due to the wind, all activities on the lake were cancelled but we were given an alternative option. The area is full of spectacular canyons. I'd definitely come back. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Page and the hotel is great, they organize excursions, good breakfast, comfortable beds and pool.
Muchas gracious.
We originally booked for 1pm, but last night he requested us to arrive at 10am, reducing the time from the original 4 hours to 3 and a half hours. We are three hours away from our destination, and today the weather is not good and it's raining. The navigation gave us the wrong address, and we called him to tell him that we arrived at 10:40 in the end. It's true that we were late. We ended up kayaking in half an hour. We talked for half a day but couldn't communicate. Not to mention taking us to Hiking, even the most basic kayaking is just a little bit of time. Even if it takes two hours, we still acknowledge it. This Christmas has been so disappointing.
Dear valued customer, we are sorry that you felt this experience was under valued. We reached out to you right after the reservation was made to make sure you were okay with an adjustment in scheduling because we found out you were beginning level kayakers and we felt it was best to adjust the tour to a private Paddle Only, because a Paddle and Hike is 8 miles long. We would like to tell you how long we did kayak as we went out 30 plus minutes we kayaked you away from shore and then turned around to go back. From shoreline and out and back it was a total of 75 minutes because of unloading and loading plus the 20 minutes of safety and instruction before launching. We want to clarify your time starts when instructions of the paddle are given on land. We would like to express our apologies for this situation however the process was difficult for us because we were talking to a 10 year old due to adult language barriers. We adjusted your tour to a private tour and a kayak only because you were all first time kayakers and arrived an hour after you said you would. We did the very best we could with this reservation and discounted you to the 2 hour event but it was a private tour that was completely focused on just your reservation. We blocked out the morning schedule for you and upgraded you from a group paddle and hike to a private paddle only because we also knew 5 miles of kayaking was going to be too much for beginner adults with beginner children in tandems. So once you told us this was your first time ever trying kayaking we were focused on how to make this the best experience we could for you without pushing you too far. 5 miles is a long journey for a first time kayaker, most get exhausted by 3 miles on their own not to mention if they are paddling kids in the boat too. The extra weight and limited power of young kayakers makes it difficult for first time adults. We ask about everyones swimming skills when dealing with first timers so we can understand who’s familiar with moving across water for 5 miles and what is too much distance for the first experience. We took amazing pictures for you, taught you the fundamentals of kayaking and gave you a complete private tour that was adjusted to your ability. Thank you for the opportunity to share this information with you. We had a wonderful day
Highly recommended! Sean was an amazing guide and knew a lot of information about the land and canyon. Was part informational and part physical. The hike and paddle were amazing.
I could not recommend the off season more! We went on Dec 16th and got so lucky when part of our group didn’t show up we ended up with a private tour! Sean was an absolutely amazing guide! He was so knowledgeable about the lake, the canyon, and the geology etc. The canyon was empty and so peaceful. The water was like glass! It looked like a mirror! Sean was happy to answer all of our questions and you can tell how passionate he is. He also took really nice photos of us. Highly recommend this tour!
Honestly this is probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever kayaked. The experience was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was magical. the calm lake reflects the canyons and the lake felt like a mirror. One of those experience that make you wonder at how beautiful nature can be. The reason I’m giving 3 stars, however, is because I could have had the same experience just renting kayaks and our guide didn’t add any value. I have to also note that our guide was new and very young and was probably just learning the trade. They weren’t very knowledgeable and kind of just came along. Also I must say that the hike after kayaking one way was super super long (probably 8 miles both ways). So kayaking ~3 miles and then hike 5 miles And then kayaking back 3 miles - it’s a massive workout. That said, I still recommend this.
We apologize for any underwhelming service provided by our young guide as the original founder was underwhelmed by his inability to make a complete commitment towards his training when he was given ample opportunity to learn and train with a former Major League Baseball player and extremely knowledgeable mentor. It was hard to watch and see the lack of respect and professionalism from him and his mother. Paddle Express is sorry for the lack of seriousness from the young staff.
We are disappointed in Jasey, the owner if the Paddle Express Tours. We made a mistake when booking the group tour. We completely miscalculated the travel time (we thought it was 30min, but it was 3h). We called Jasey, to explain and asked if we could reschedule to a later time. She said:" there are no later group tours, but you can book an individual tour, let me call you back." We decided to make the drive, but after that she did not respond to emails nor did she pick up here phone. So we lost our money, but also half a travel day. Very disappointing!
Yes very disappointed indeed as the original founder worked so hard only to get the excuses daily. They were stacking so high the whole thing collapsed.
We booked a last-minute tour with Paddle Express, and Sean Tracey went above and beyond to make it happen. He was friendly, knowledgeable, took pictures while we kayaked and made the whole experience effortless. The tandem kayak trip across Lake Powell and into Antelope Canyon was unforgettable, and the short hike through the canyon before kayaking back was a perfect bonus. Highly recommend Sean and Paddle Express to anyone visiting Page!
