The tour was absolutely awesome! Our tour driver was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure everyone on the tour was comfortable and enjoying the experience. He answered every question thoroughly, shared interesting facts throughout the trip, and even made additional stops so we could see more than what was originally planned. His professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care made this one of the best tours we’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!
The canyon is absolutely breathtaking. Also, you get to see Hawaiian green sea turtles. Shaning was a local and very knowledgeable. We couldn’t ask for anything better.
Nice trip. We loved the small group size and engaging conversations with our driver. They were very friendly, and the trip felt almost private, unlike being herded around. The driver was knowledgeable and pointed out great restaurants, shops, and points of interest along the way.
Sharing was a great drive and guide. Super relatable as well as knowledgeable. We had a great time. Took as to excellent sites, and the day in the canyon was not to be missed.
Good Tour, Weimea canyon is the reason the for the tour the other stuff is just filler. Guide was very friendly although surprisingly not knowledgeable on subject matter. Lunch was in last half hour of tour rather than lunchtime.
Fabulous views of the canyon, highly recommend! The tour guide wasn’t able to answer a lot of our questions which was disappointing.
Shaning was an outstanding guide for our Waimea Canyon tour. He was knowledgeable, well-organized, and made the day both informative and enjoyable while keeping us perfectly on schedule to return to the ship. His thoughtful tips and friendly energy truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommend!
Phenomenal guide!!! Had a great time. Would highly recommend. Beautiful scenery. Guide was very knowledgeable.
Kelea was training Andy, so we got two knowledgeable and personable locals to share stories with us! We stopped at different segments of the Waimea Canyon beginning on one side of the island and climbing 4,000 feet to the gorge on the other side. The comparison with the Grand Canyon are accurate. The overlooks were amazing, and we had ample time to take photos. After making our way back down, we had lunch at a local restaurant and ice cream at a little chocolate shop. We ended our tour with a stop at Kauai Coffee and a drive through the more lush residential areas along the beach. Kelea and Andy seemed to know everyone on the island and shared their personal stories. A lovely day!
This was a great excursion - the views we were taken to were incredible. We learned a lot about the area and lunch was just fabulous as well. There were so many choices to pick from. The spouting horn was a great site as well. Had a wonderful day and I would recommend it to others. One not to be missed.
