Nāpali Coast State Wilderness Park lies in the northwest of Kauai Island, Hawaii. It’s known for its towering pali, or sea cliffs, punctuated by narrow valleys, streams and cascading waterfalls. This is the crown jewel of Kauai.
Mount Waiʻaleʻale is a shield volcano and the second highest point on the island of Kauaʻi. Its name literally means "rippling water" or "overflowing water". The mountain, at an elevation of 5,148 feet averages more than 373 inches of rain a year since 1912, with a record 683 inches in 1982; its summit is one of the rainiest spots on earth.
Known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Breathtaking!
Wailua Falls is a waterfall on the island of Kauai. The 173 foot falls are located on the South Fork Wailua River near Lihue. The waterfall is prominently featured on the opening credits of the television series Fantasy Island.
Hanalei Bay is the largest bay on the north shore of Kauaʻi. The bay consists of nearly 2 miles of beach, surrounded by mountains.
Manawaiopuna Falls is a waterfall in the Hawaiian Islands, located in Hanapepe Valley on Kauai Island. It is 400 ft tall. It was featured in the background of several scenes in the 1993 Steven Spielberg film Jurassic Park.

It was awesome. Seeing the Waimea canyon and NaPali coast from the air is an entirely different from land or sea.
Was a good experience, the Napoli coast was amazing best part of trip. The flight was a bit bumpy due to air turbulence. The price was great at $159.00 vs. others and helicopters. We had small plane. Conversation or hearing pilot was bad, head phones were not working properly. The day was a bit cloudy and rainy but overall clouds were high enough to still see sites. Overall good experience and worth doing
We travelled with our 4 years old son, who was not comfortable in the flight. Few reasons -first, in the flight you can not really hear each others voice unless spoken through the headphones with mouth piece that they provide. Not easy to use for a 4 years old and he was getting anxious and restless at the same time as he was not able to communicate/express himself to us from his seat. Thought there was no restriction to purchase the ticket for 4 years old kids, I will highly recommend this journey for the adults- at least 10 years old. Also we could not complete our 11:30 am trip, because the flight returned back mid way to Napali coast as the pilot said he found a strange vibrations in the engine and did not want to take any risk. Im not a pilor/ nor do I have much knowledge abt flights, but when I asked abt the incident at the check in counter after coming back, the old lady said she never had experienced anything happened like this before. Trips generally get rescheduled due to bad weather not mid way due to technical issues. Anyway we missed the opportunity to visit the Napali coast even on bright sunny morning. We couldn’t not reschedule as we had our return flight from island on that day. We were told we will get the refund though . The flight looked pretty old and it was a tiny plane, may b smaller than a skydiving flight.. total 7 passengers to accommodate including pilot.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry that your tour didn't go as planned and understand how disappointing it must have been, especially with it being your last day on Kauaʻi. We also appreciate your feedback about traveling with younger children. Our aircraft require the use of aviation headsets so passengers can communicate over the engine noise, and we understand that this can be more challenging for very young children. Your comments are valuable and will help future guests make the best decision for their families. Regarding the flight itself, our pilots are trained to be exceptionally cautious. During your tour, the pilot noticed an indication that warranted returning to the airport. While these situations are rare, our policy is simple: if there is ever anything that doesn't seem right, we land and inspect the aircraft rather than continue the flight. Safety will always be our highest priority. We understand how frustrating it was that you were unable to reschedule because you were leaving the island that day, and we're glad we were able to provide a full refund. Although we know that doesn't make up for missing the opportunity to see the Nā Pali Coast, we believe making the conservative decision was the right one. Thank you again for your feedback. We sincerely hope you'll consider flying with us again if you return to Kauaʻi, and we'd welcome the opportunity to provide the complete experience you were looking forward to.
Exceptional. Brilliant flight, really informative guide, very safe. Highly recommended.
Wow!!!! Such an amazing experience. The pilot was knowledgeable and made us feel completely safe, the plane also was such a smooth ride with the best views of the entire island that can only be reached by plane
When visiting Kauai, taking a small six-person seater plane tour is a must. There’s plenty of room to look out of both sides of the windows, offering stunning views of the coastline, including Poipu Beach, coffee farms, the Na Pali Coast, Tunnels Beach, Hanalei Bay, Princeville, and the beautiful waterfalls in the middle of the island. With so many scenic locations to enjoy, this experience is definitely worth it, especially for the price.
Pilot Nick did an amazing job giving the history and details of the island. This was an amazing adventure and we enjoyed it immensely.
The ride was very smooth and the views were generally clear. We did get close to landmarks and we did traverse the whole island. My only criticism is that the audio narration was generally garbled and mixed in with other audio feeds from other aircraft, the airport and helicopters. This could definitely be improved.
excellent pilot very knowledge great take off and landing beautiful trip
Great trip even though there were clouds covering parts of the Napili coast. Got some good photos. Tom and Terri, Oregon
