Our guide was very attentive to our desires and pace. Though it was a little crowded up top we were able to see all the attractions and see the views without being rushed.
Our guide was passionate about the area and made it to a highlight of our vacation. The panoramic views left us speechless and the tour was a real personal touch. I recommend this tour to anyone want to visit Jungfraujoch, as it was a group tour with just four people and guided by a Swiss tourguide.
Thank you for your review. I forwarded your feedback to our guide.
Great fun. The train ride up and down was beautiful. It was fun being in the clouds. We loved the ice castle. Tourguide was very attentive to everyone of the group. A great day.
Well, this is high alpine weather and can change from blue sky to cloudy/foggy within 10 minutes. Happy you enjoyed it anyway.
A fantastic day, money worth every moment from the meeting point to all 3 train rides and at the end the cable car ! Our guide was very nice funny helpful and great at taking photos and also very organised to make sure we are all happy I would recommend this tour for sure !
Hello Patricia Thank you for the review and happy you had a great time with us.
Our group of three visited the Top of Europe on a foggy day, September 17th. However, the clouds parted at times, affording us spectacular views and we took some great photos/videos to share with family and friends. Our tour guide, Michael, proved very knowledgeable in informing us about Junfraujoch and the surrounding area and did an outstanding job as our guide! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Top of Europe!
Thank you for the review, happy you had some views.
We were a couple of friends traveling together and booked this tour individually. Perfect: nobody else was with us, just us 6 friends and the tour guide. Great day, great pictures, friendly and funny tour guide
Thank you for your feedback. One advantage of our small group tours - they are small :-) Kind regards
Easy to find meeting point. Did not have to wait for anything. Tourguide was nice and had some insider things for us. Expensive destination but worth the money. Would go on the same group again as it's much easier to get leaded than finding the way yourself.
Thank you for the review. Happy you had a great day. Kind regards from Switzerland
There are several ways to get there and that's why we booked the tour. We didn't have to queue anywhere and as a small group we got through everywhere without queuing. Tour guide told us some things that we would not have seen on our own. I think you could start earlier, but it was ok.
Hello Thank you for your feedback. We start this tour at 11am, as between 8am and 10am is the "big rush" from groups and individual travellers towards Jungfraujoch. With the starting time we avoid the crowd in the train/cableway and when we arrive at the Top, a lot of travellers are leaving the destination already. Kind regards from Switzerland
I am honestly ashamed and embarrassed that I spent so much money on this tour. The only benefit of having a guide was ensuring we made it on the correct trains during our two transfers from Interlaken Ost. We certainly did not learn anything that we couldn’t have picked up from the free handouts and posted displays. The guide was a nice enough old man, but he was not wearing anything that distinguished him from anyone else at the meet up site. So, when we finally made contact, we had missed the train we should have been on. Additionally, we could have actually departed earlier, but our instructions were to meet at 11:10am. An earlier departure would have allowed us to spend more time at the Jungfraujoch. As a final insult, when trying to catch the train back down the mountain, we were herded into a queue that was behind three giant groups who were part of a “guided tour.” I will think twice before ever signing up for another guided tour again, especially one highly rated by Trip Advisor.
Heavy snow on the day we went to Jungfraujoch and the guide just rushed through the tour and he is not sure of the questions we asked him. The photos he took for us funny cos was we don't even get ready. We have to provide meal for him.
Good afternoon We checked the situation of your tour: -several sights were closed due to strong winds and safety reasons, which resulted in a shorter walk around -your son had some breathing problems due to the altitue which resulted, that the tourguide adopted the walk around -the tourguide extended the tour for the Lindt chocolate shop for your kids - you do not mention these aspect -you asked the tourguide on the whole return travel about Zermatt and you get a proper itinary on a sheet of paper what to do in Zermatt There is no mention about to pay for the tourguide's meal. You wanted to pay for his meal (he was asking you twice if you really want to pay for it). The product description says: gratuities welcome for the tourguide. There is no obligation! When looking at the facts, this rating is based on your personal problems. Kind regards Mike / Swisstravelguide.ch
