Clock Tower that was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh (1880-1911) from whom the market takes its name. In fact, the tower dominates the entire scenario. The sights and sounds of the market must be experienced, even if you don’t intend to buy anything as it is a stupendous cornucopia of a mix of the human species, a spectacle where you can casually look around and see what generally transpires in a busy and noisy Indian market in a city on the run. Locals hawk virtually everything like bangles, imitation jewellery, fruit & veg, spices, pottery, baskets, clothes, etc.
This is one of the local and most bazaar you can find flamboyant Rajasthani apparel – Leheriya. Originated in Jodhpur, this unique print is done on dupattas, suits, and sarees. Bandhej cloth material is also available largely in this market. This is one of the best place for traditional and wedding clothes shopping
Best chat or street food place , if you aree street food lover this is you place . The original chaat is a mixture of potato pieces, crisp fried bread dahi vada or dahi bhalla, gram or chickpeas and tangy-salty spices, with sour Indian chili and saunth (dried ginger and tamarind sauce), fresh green coriander leaves and yogurt for garnish, but other popular variants included aloo tikkis
Temple is in heart of city and surrounded by local market,This is a Lord Shiva Temple inside Jodhpur city and it is very much crowded during evening time when the Aarti (Prayer) is going on. it is decorated on every Monday with flowers and other things in very beautiful style.
he temple has been built in the Architectural style used in building mostly in vaishnava temples. For the beauty and grandeur the temple is worth seeing. On the walls, scenes and pictures have been engraved and encraved and mosaic work has also been done.
The Step Well Square is a mini-architectural tour with the Toorji's Step Well at the center, and almost 250 yrs of building traddition on view. Built in the 1740s, submerged for decades, its recent restoration uncovered over 200 hundred feet of hand carved treasure.

In Jodhpur I had a street food tour to learn about Rajasthani Delights. I think it was the best street food I have ever eaten so far!! Jodhpur famous food is about history, creativity, and surviving in a difficult desert climate; it’s not only about the flavour. The cuisine is distinct due to the dry climate, lack of fresh vegetables, and dependence on durable ingredients. Characteristics of Jodhpur Food * Spices: Strong spices such as red chilli, turmeric, cumin, and coriander are usednoften in Jodhpur food. * Ghee (Clarified Butter): The ghee is utilized generously while preparing nearly every dish and has made the cuisines richly aromatic. * Dry Vegetables: Dry ker (a desert berry) and sangri (a bean) are among the major ingredients of Rajasthani recipes. * Sweet and Salty Equilibrium: The flavors of Jodhpur famous food are sweetly balanced with spices, sweet and salt. In an incredibly good mix of street food and temples, Sam's tour was a double sensory experience: for the stomach and soul. It ended up at Massala Chai's home, where we came into contact with his family. With his motorcycle - another unexpected highlight - he finally took us to a pickup location for an Uber tuktuk. Highly recommended!
Incredible food and amazing guide, very highly recommend. This tour covered so much more than we’ve done on other food tours. Ram was super flexible and knew the best places to visit for authentic and delicious food. Tried so many incredible dishes whilst seeing the back streets outside of the typical tourist areas. We had a pleasure of visiting Jodhpur and Ram was our city guide. He has a great knowledge of the city history, which is fascinating. Ram took us through the streets and markets of the beautiful Jodhpur, we had lovely food, and never felt pressured into buying things or visiting places we didn’t want to buy or visit.
