Ella was an amazing tour guide with such an excellent knowledge of the history of the area - we completely enjoyed our time With her and will definitely book more tours with Ella in the future -
This was amazing. Not o ly the history of barcelona and catalan, but Aragon, the Moores and before that. All of that is needed to understand the history of the jews. My guide Lilach was terrific. Very attentive, very knowledgeable. Highly recommended
Great experience! The tour was perfect. The tour guide, Eyal, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this tour to everyone.
We had a great tour with Eyal. His knowledge of the Jewish history of Barcelona is amazing. If you are interested in learning and seeing the Jewish section of Barcelona, I highly recommend taking it with him.
Lilach was an amazing tour guide. Incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Clearly has a passion for what she does. I highly recommend the tour for anyone you wants to learn about the history of Spain the Old City and the Jewish community. So much to see and learn.
Although there is little record of Jewish life left in Barcelona, especially in the past 600 years, our guide showed us the remnants of a variety of Jewish sites. He explained Jewish history in Spain, the impact of the inquisition, including laws that persisted until the 1960s! He discussed conversos and we had a brief discussion of Judaism in Barcelona today. Overall he was engaging and informative.
Due to a flight delay, we were unable to make our prepaid private tour. I was only able to notify the tour moments before the scheduled time, yet they rescheduled our door with a reasonable rebooking fee. Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, engaging and sprinkled the 2 hour tour with interesting stories and facts.
Our guide was so knowledgeable about the all the events that happened to the Jews throughout Spain’s history.
Our guide, Ella, was phenomenal. The private tour was truly a highlight of our trip. If you have the chance to choose your guide, I would highly recommend her!
