Mixed Experience: Thrilling Jet Ski Adventure with Organizational Hiccups **3 out of 5 stars** This jet ski island-hopping tour had the potential to be amazing, but it was marred by significant disorganization and poor communication from the start. We didn't use the provided transportation, so we arrived on time expecting a prompt departure. However, the tour ran considerably later than advertised—over 2 hours delayed—due to hotel pickups and apparent overbooking. There weren't enough jet skis for all reservations, which created a stressful atmosphere. A family of eight guests, who'd been picked up 3.5 hours early, became understandably furious, adding tension to the group. Fortunately, the operators separated us from the angry group (a smart move), though we briefly caught up to them at the first island, where things escalated further—I believe they were taken back early. After that, we switched to a new guide (the original was fine too), and the rest of the tour improved dramatically. Once underway, it was an excellent time! We visited several beautiful islands, stopping at the third for a fantastic lunch with drinks that far exceeded my low expectations after the rocky start. The 2-hour delay actually worked in our favor: we hit the water during sunset on islands six and seven, witnessing a breathtaking sunset, followed by a stunning full moon rising around 7 PM as we headed back. Those moments were truly magical and made the experience memorable. The guide took great photos and videos, kindly sending them via WhatsApp afterward. The jet skiing itself was thrilling, and the scenery was unforgettable. We wrapped up around 7:30 PM, but in the remote location, securing a rideshare back to our hotel (on the opposite side of the island) was tough—we ended up paying double the usual fare. Overall, the natural beauty and silver linings (sunset, full moon, photos) saved the day, turning a chaotic start into a beautiful adventure. However, the lack of professionalism, communication, and planning detracts significantly. If you're booking, prepare for potential delays and overbooking—it's worth it for the views if you can roll with the punches, but improvements in organization would make this a 5-star tour.
Hey Dainna thanks for the review bit upset you didn't mention me helping you plan your shopping on the way up 😉 and answering all your questions, so not sure why we were lacking on the comms dept.The family of 8 were in fact a group of freinds from Australia not a family. They were picked up at 11.30 and im being told you were on the water for around 14.00pm which is in fact late. There normally on the water for around 13.30.pm The reason I told you be there 12.45pm and I know its cheeky of me, but the amount of times we tell people to arrive at a certain time and there late, which has a knock on effect for everyone who is there. So I now tell people to turn up 30 mins before they should, to cover it and even that doesn't work. Today for example 12.45 please, he turned up at 13.30pm apparently got stopped by the police. The reason you were late on the water was not about picking people up or not enough jets, the morning tour was late back. The tour runs twice a day. 95 percent of the time like clock work. However on the day you were on the tour, a small group were not listening to the guides messing about didn't want come back. Hence afternoon tour was delayed. So anyone reading this review, if you book a tour please have a thought for other guests. If your driving yourself please be on time, if your getting picked up, please be ready in the lobby on time. Every morning I get messages from drivers can't find guests. There still eating breakfast or just nipped 7 11 or just checking out. Not a care in the world they dont realise them making the driver 10, 15, 30 minutes late has a massive knock on effect on the tour, you times it by 5 pick ups can put serious delays on tours starting and the reason we get people early to account for anyone not ready. But the most important thing please have respect for the guides and listen to them. They work very hard and unruly guests are a nightmare for them and then we has company get called unorganised for things not running on time, when its things happening in the back ground out of our control. Im glad you enjoyed the tour once it got underway, when everything goes smooth its a great tour, but alas we have people from all over the world, majority are fantastic but not all are punctual and some, not many have total disrespect for the guides and make there job difficult.
Everything was very good. We moved on pleasant speed, no unnecessary restrictions or constraints. Jets are quite fast (up to 80 km/h) and in average condition. We stoped several times, but it is just enough to have a rest. Local food lunch was a bit risky for stomach (place a bit dirty and they probably reuse straws) Overall if review only jet ski itself + photos 5 stars deserved. -1 star for lunch
Brilliant honest review very much appreciated i like when people say it as it is, thank you. I get you about the resturant on this tour, its a little old shack on a beach, proper thai style, ive eaten many times, never an issue and honestly they dont reuse the straws:) its a pretty authentic thai restaurant no bells and whistles with a great view and expensive beer. Food and soft drink included in the tour. i think adds a bit of charm to the experience, but thanks for the feedback we will have a look if we can find a better restaurant for the future.

Went on the afternoon 4hour option today. I’m in my mid fifties and reasonably fit but still wondering what I might have signed up for before starting. I’d have to say it was one of the best activities I’ve done in a long time. The grouping was small to give me the confidence to know they had our safety. Equipment was great. The Phuket bay is shallow so no major waves and after twenty minutes or so I was exhilarated by the speed we could go with no experience. Loved it and would recommend to anyone. Thank you to the team who looked after us.

We had the trip of a lifetime thanks to Qbic Travel Thailand! Their attention to detail and smooth coordination made everything effortless — from airport transfers to jam-packed days of adventure. The elephant sanctuary was humane and inspiring, the jet skiing and zip lining were thrilling, and the trips to the Similan and Phi Phi Islands were absolutely jaw-dropping. Contrary to other people's opinions, the attitude is quite incorrect. The program was 5 hours, of which 1.5 hours was on the water on a jet ski. The rest of the waits were 1-1, a total of 5 very dirty and trash-filled islands, where everything was for money, food and drinks... In these places, the tour guides rolled cigarettes and blew smoke at us, they were really unnecessary. We waited and waited, this really spoils the experience. The seasidoo 1630 cc jet ski itself was very good and powerful, the two of us went and took turns changing gears and our max speed was 75km/h, which was really good, of course, as soon as we enjoyed it, they told us that the gas costs a lot (30 bath/liter) which is a joke when it's $268.57/jet ski for 2 people. The landscape was beautiful, I really liked it. We had a blast on the water, pushing our own laps.

Appologies if they were not respectful we generally get good feedback about the guides, could you do me a favour email info@qbictravel.com with your booking ref as your name doesn't bring an order up, so I may look into which guides were with you.
This really was a great experience. The different islands they take you to have amazing views and are not overcrowded. They take lots of pictures of everyone in the group and send them to you at the end of the day. If you’ve never ridden jet skis before it’s a little rough but it’s doable. At the end of the day they also cook food for you that’s ready when you get back to the launch point and it was really good. Overall, I’d recommend this to anyone.
Avoid at all costs! This company is a SCAM they ripped me off. I booked an excursion with them and they failed to pick me up and I lost my money. Please don’t make my mistake and book through them. I was quite sad that Thailand is meant to be a place with nice people but the truth is many like this company are looking to scam you. AVOID
Emily I will be instructing my lawyers regarding your comments, we are not a scam business and what you have stated is slander. You booked a tour then cancelled the tour by email. The day of the tour you contacted to ask why you were not picked up. You were told you cancelled by email to which you stated you didn't really mean to cancel. And we got it wrong "Hi I have just made a booking but I am worried about the weather and I want to cancel the booking please" Your email at 10.00pm the night before tour. We responded asking why you thought weather was an issue. No responce we therefore cancelled your booking. As stated above the morning of the tour you said you didn't mean it, however our driver was too far away to come back and get you. You then said you would get a taxi but you couldn't find one. We offered to help get a taxi but you rejected this offer. We then offered to put you on the later tour which you again rejected and demanded a refund. Unfortunately we have to pay for these tours upfront last minute cancellations we cannot get a refund for. Anyone booking a tour we can cancel up to around 18.00pm the day before without us incurring costs any later we get charged. I will post this guests interaction with staff on our Facebook page for all to see we are not scammers. She cancelled by email then changed her mind we tried to get her a taxi she refused we also offered a later tour same day both refused.
