Great half day tour. Speedboat ride was great. Village visit was fun ,nice meal prepared by villagers. Captain Jack was a great guide.
An amazing day well worth every minute. I could not have asked for a better fun filled experience and touching day in the village also. Anyone contemplating this tour don’t and just go! You will never regret it. Breathtaking experience with views and scenery that will blow your mind. The Fijian people are very talented and have a strong culture. The experience of the jet boat driver Captain Jack and the bus driver Elijah was highly noticeable. The village was educational as well as inspirational. The BEST day ever!
We went in the afternoon. The lady on the bus that was taking us from Sigatoka to the river cruise was narrating the history of the place in an amusing tone. She was very funny. The cruise on the river was extremely pleasant. The experience with the locals was genuine. The kava ceremony seemed to be heartfelt. I did not understand anything that was said but the tour guide was explaining what he was doing and why as he progressed. We had a tour of the village, had lunch on the floor in the community centre and danced with the people from Toga village. At the end, the tourists who had brought gifts could give it to the tour guide who handed to the chief on our behalf. They all thanked us for the kind donations and we left. We did 6 rounds of 360 degrees on the jet boat with our captain Fabulous Freddy! Thank you for a very pleasant afternoon.
So glad I booked this tour! The jet ride was so fun and our captain was the nicest. But the village visit totally exceeded expectations. Everyone was lovely to us, they held a kava ceremony (you don’t have to drink it if you don’t feel comfortable with it) and also prepared lots of food for us to have. But the best part was the singing and dancing after lunch, it doesn’t matter if you’re shy, it’s just about having fun and celebrating. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Fiji.

We had the best time and our captain, Captain Fini, was the best! We departed The Warwick at 7:30 and got back by 3-3:30. The village was absolutely beautiful and the boat trip itself was long that we got to see some beautiful sceneries and on a Saturday got to see how locals get their supplies sorted. It was a big group but they made it work wonderfully and we would recommend to anyone and do it again (this was my 2nd time and still loved it!) Amazing tour. Captain Fini was so passionate, knowledgeable and funny. The village experience was so genuine and special for our family to see, enjoyed trying the meal they put on for us, the kava ceremony and dancing at the end. Need lots of water as it is very warm in the village hall, and that was in Fijian winter. Teri started the tour off with a Fantastic rundown of the the local area, made the bus ride enjoyable. Also met the operator, really lovely guy. Our favourite experience of our trip, and the jet boat spins at the end topped it off. Very well run and highly recommended

Amazing jet boat ride and village visit. Amazing hospitality and food at the village. Enjoyed learning about the simple and happy way of life in the village. Josh (Captain Jack) did an amazing job with the speed boat and the 360 degree spins. The was one of the top adventures on our vacation.

Lots of fun, main focus of the day was the culture and town visited which was great but if you are looking for a bit more NZ jet boating experience vs a scenic tour then this isn’t it

The jetboat ride adds fun, scenery and excitement, but our main focus has always been sharing the heart and soul of Fiji. If someone is specifically looking for a Shotover-style, high-adrenaline thrill ride, then we agree — Sigatoka River Safari is probably not what they are looking for.
