We had the best experience ever! Loved the boat ride and the Captain (did not get her name) was great also! She was very informative and answered all of our questions. The Shuttle ride down the mountain was scary, however, Larry, our driver, was great also and funny and personable. I would recommend this to everyone!
Very awesome experience and very nice people. Then, also good information, the good things to learn. I would suggest for anyone to go there and have a great time.
Underwhelming. Sucked fumes in a rickety boat. Spent more time in the van going to the river than the boat. Captain tried to narrate in a whisper but wouldn’t use a microphone. Would not recommend.
It was described as being on the jet boat for an hour, it was only a 30 min. Run. Disappointed.
The shuttle bus ride to the dock was enjoyable as the driver provided interesting facts about the area and about West Virginia. The boat ride was also nice, albeit brief. Our captain was also very informative and answered the many questions my 11 year old grandson asked. The scenery was nice and the weather was perfect.
Friendly staff A short ride from right below Hawks Nest to the New River Gorge Bridge.
James the shuttle driver was the highlight of the trip. Loved the history he shared with us as well as his trivia questions. River was beautiful but for the price the boat ride was way to short.
