Minneriya National Park is a protected wildlife area in Sri Lanka’s North Central Province.Renowned for its seasonal elephant gatherings and rich biodiversity, it forms part of the island’s “cultural triangle” of heritage and nature destinations. The park is a key site for wildlife tourism and ecological conservation in the dry zone. We had an amazing safari experience! Our driver was excellent—very skilled, friendly, and knew exactly where to find the elephants. He got us close enough to see them safely, which made the experience truly unforgettable. Seeing these magnificent animals up close was incredible. If you’re planning an elephant safari, this is the driver you should choose. Highly recommended!

I joined the event feeling lucky if I could see elephants, but I was able to meet countless elephants. The guide told me many stories about elephants and he is kind and good at finding animals. We thought we were going to Minnellia, and we had the admission fee in US dollars, but we actually went to another park, so we found out that we could only spend Sri Lankan Rupees, so we were quite impatient. The park I go to depends on the situation that day seems to change. If you contact us on whatsapp, they will respond immediately, so you may want to ask them in advance.

Great safari in Hurulu Park. Organized by Sanju, who was a safe driver, very polite, and happy to answer questions and very respectful towards the animals. Saw lots of elephants and he pointed also other ones out. Highly recommended!
