Monte Brasil it's a extinct volcano surrounded by 4 km of walls of the "Fortaleza de São João Baptista". A incredible panoramic view of the city of Angra do Heroísmo.
Enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee, sourced from nearby plantations. The unique aromas and flavors of this coffee are a testament to the region’s rich agricultural heritage. Cheese tastings at the local of prodution. The oldest cheese on the island of Terceira.
Visit to an Ethnographic house and Windmill. Here it is possible to transport us to past experiences, from the use of windmills to produce flour as well as all the utensils and structures used for everyday life.

The Lagoa das Patas [Duck Lake] Forest Reserve is in the interior of Terceira Island and gets its name from a beautiful artificial lake, fed by the water flowing from the Serra de Santa Bárbara range. The lake is surrounded by azaleas, hydrangeas and other bushes and trees.

This natural monument covers about 14 hectares and corresponds to a fumarolic field. Is a manifestation of secondary volcanism with the emission of volcanic gases at various temperatures, some quite high (about 95 °C at the surface and about 130 °C at half a metre deep).

Pick up at your Hotel in Angra do Heroísmo or at the meeting point (Praça Velha). If you are at a hotel in Praia da Vitória contact us and we will be happy to help you with a taxi driver to Angra, meeting point. Pick up time: 10am (please inform us if you need to change the pick up time)

Great time exploring the island and learning about all the different areas. The guides Bobby and Catarina were engaging and made the excursion The food at the stops we made was delicious It was a great way to spend the day waiting for our flight from a long layover. Highly recommend this tour
Wow!!! 5 star rating for our private tour of Terceira in the Azores with premiere host Catarina and her father Bob! Amazing day discovering all the best places( local ) and cultural incites the island has to offer. Everything from the history, volcanic formations, beautiful coastlines, bull run and festivals to taking tours of a cheese factory/farm and tasting their delicious cheese and liquor was above and beyond!!! Highly recommend Catarina and Azores Escapes!!! I definitely will be back.
No one was at the meeting point, spent half hour trying to get through to be told the trip was cancelled due to poor weather, even though all the Cunard Jeep Safari Trips went ahead

WOW, We arrived on a cruise ship not sure what to expect of this island in the Azores. We had never visited this location and were excited to explore. Our day was spent riding in a older Landrover with two amazing young people. Their knowledge and love of their home made our day. We saw so much, beaches forest, a lava tube,cheese maker and so much more. We enjoyed a great time on an island well worth visiting. I will recommend this tour to anyone heading that way.
Driving with the jeep trough the forest with open canopy is amazing. Also the tour guides were good and I highly recommend this tour.
Well organized Excellent guide Lots of availability so everything runs smoothly. Alternative itinerary, takes us to less touristy but spectacular places.
