Everyone is so warm and welcoming here! Very fun experience!
Wonderful excursions. From pick up to drop off the experience was top notch! Must done. Enlightening and entertaining
Very good tour. I highly recommend going on this tour. You actually get to see a lot of Jamaica and learn about the history.
The tour did not meet my expectations. For the price, I expected an authentic cultural experience. What we received was a poster board with pictures and words on the wall like we were in elementary school. The dancer was the tour guide who changed into a costume and requested participation instead of a show. This felt put together and not an experience they should be selling. The good part of the tour was cooking with the chef but when they charged for water that threw me off too. Not to mention it was disorganized as they added us to another tour and we had to wait in the heat for them to finish. We were suppsed to be done at 1:30 and got back at 5:30. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, and wish the reviews would have more accurately reflected the experience as this was not a cultural experience.
Eve and Tasmine were fantastic - really enjoyed both of them. They knew a lot about the area and pointed out many items of interest. Falmouth was also very pretty and I enjoyed the crowd. The only thing that put me off was that old man. He had been singing and playing the drum, but as the trip wound up, without any reason, he picked up several rocks and began throwing them at the two little dogs that had been with us during our time there. I am not sure why he did that, but it was completely undeserved and unnecessary. It really put me off.
We had an incredible tour that took us through the villages of Jamaica, where we gained deep insights into the lives of the local people. Our day was filled with memorable experiences, including a delicious home-cooked meal prepared by a local chef. We immersed ourselves in the vibrant music and culture, even joining in on some lively dancing. One highlight was hearing the haunting tale of Rose Hall, a Georgian plantation house that now serves as a historic museum. Our tour guide, Moma T, was exceptional—her wealth of knowledge and impressive photographic memory left us in awe as she remembered everyone's names throughout the tour. As we traveled, we were treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, and we definitely felt the thrill of the bumpy ride we affectionately dubbed “massage road” as we climbed the mountain. Our visit to the farmers' market introduced us to traditional health remedies, and we even met an inspiring 101-year-old woman, who was vibrant and full of life. It's clear that the locals have a knack for longevity. This experience is truly a must-see!
Really enjoyed this tour. If you a deep dive into the Jamaican culture this is the tour for you. Mama T and Eve made this tour amazing. I highly recommend this tour.
Ms. T & Eve were amazing. The history, nature, and most of all cultural experience was unforgettable. Thank you for everything.
Bring water and cash for tips. lots of great cultural and historical information. it was NOT focused on slavery and plantation which helped. Monday is a slower day if you like clam. Wednesdays are bustling.
Eve & Mama T are a dynamic tour team. These ladies ROCK and give you a one of a kind experience. Their history, knowledge, ties with the community, Eve's driving and their sharing of small details makes this a tour on your next visit to Jamaica not to be missed.
