Itinerary
Explore Panna Meena Ka Kund (stepwell), a little-known gem on the way to Amber Fort. It was built over 400 years ago and features stunning architecture and labyrinthine staircases that will take your breath away! Amber Fort is located 11 kilometers north of central Jaipur. This massive fort-palace complex, built in a hybrid Hindu-Muslim style, dates back to Raja Man Singh and served as the palace of the Kachwahas from 1600-1727. The fort is not named after the rather pretty pastel yellow colour; rather, it is named after the town of Amber, whose name was in turn derived from the goddess Amba. The main sights within the fort include the Sheesh Mahal, adorned with thousands on thousands of mirror tiles on the walls and ceiling. The fort/palace grounds are sprawling so we recommend hiring a guide. We can assist with this process.
Jantar Mantar is a UNESCO world heritage site. It iss the largest of five observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh between 1727 and 1734 in north India. There are fourteen major geometric devices (or yantras in Hindi) in this observatory for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking stars in their orbits, determining planet declinations, and determining celestial heights, etc.
The Royal City Palace is located in the heart of old Jaipur. It is a spectacular example of the amalgamation of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Commissioned to be built by the founder of Jaipur, Maharaja Jai Singh II, this lavish palace includes the living quarters of the erstwhile royal family, some of whom still reside in a private wing.
Jaipur's most-distinctive landmark, the Hawa Mahal is an extraordinary pink-painted, delicately honeycomb hive that rises a dizzying five storeys. Haw Mahal is famous for its amazing and unique architecture. This palace features 953 windows, called jharokhas, that are beautifully incorporated into the honeycomb design. In addition to providing a window to the outside world for the royal women, these windows helped in keeping the palace airy and cool.
Jaipur, the 'pink city of India', is best known for its extraordinary monuments and royal heritage. It's also known for textiles, pottery and gems. We are happy to share a few of our favourite places to visit or markets within the pink city to shop.
The Jal Mahal is surrounded by Nahargarh hills and is known for its sophisticated architecture and design. This water palace was also used for Royal duck shooting parties. It is well maintained and provides a scenic view of Nahargarh Fort.
You will see beautiful view from monkey temple & sanset drive beak to hotel,

We had an amazing day with our driver, Sohil! He was a very skilled tuk tuk driver. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the places we visited. He was very accommodating when we wanted to take more time at a site and was easy to communicate with. He helped us find local yummy lunch with both veg &non veg options (including less spicy options!) and snacks through out the day. He offered to secure a tour guide if we wanted one and gave us advice for the rest of our stay. Throughout the day, he checked in to see what else we needed and asked for honest feedback. All around, he made our adventure AMAZING! Highly recommended!
We customised our city tour and Imran was super helpful in guiding us. He was able to provide a lot of historical and cultural info for the places we went, and even took us to a great little spot for lunch. Really wish there was something like this in more cities in Northern India.
The tour was amazing, Imran was very kind and patient person. He made our trip so much better. We highly recommend
I highly recommend Imran! He's a very kind person and he's very knowledgeable and passionate about his home city. If you want to see all the best sites of Jaipur within a day, then this tour is perfect for you! Furthermore, he can also arrange other services such as transports to other places in Rajasthan. Great contact to have to travel in the area!
We had a great day with Imran in Jaipur! We made the mistake of waking up late due to our alarm and Imran waited for us the whole time and picked us up when ready. We stopped for some delicious lassi. He was very kind and knowledgeable. We went to Amber fort and he helped us coordinate to get a jeep ride up to the entrance. (Ticket and Jeep prices not included) we were lucky that it was world museum day and the fort was free. From there we stopped for pictures and lunch, headed to see cloth block printing, then to the museum. We were able to personalize the tour as needed. We would have experienced a lot more had we not been late, but that was our fault. Imran was also kind to try and help us organize travel to Udaipur. He knows India very well and is a great resource.
Thanks for your review. I am happy you enjoyed your tuk-tuk tour of Jaipur.

Imran is a very friendly guide. For 600 rupees we went to Amber fort and we had some explanations on the way and a stop on the way back to take picture of the palace on the lake. We have not escaped arrest at a tailor who probably leaves him a significant commission.
Thanks for your review. The stop at the tailor was optional and I am glad you enjoyed the visit.
We spent a whole day with Imram and it was exceptional. He walked us around Jaipur passing through streets and corners that had interest. It is able to get out of the classic tourist circuits. We liked the fruit and vegetable market. He understood exactly what we wanted to do and at the same time he was able to offer us ideas. His calm and kindness will never be forgotten. It is very nice to talk with him about Jaipur, its history and life...
Thanks for your review. I am happy you enjoyed your tour of Jaipur.
