This was the worst tour we have ever done thru Viator. Let me first say we just finished a 19 day tour of Greece, Italy and France; all of our tours and guides were top notch just wonderful EXCEPT this tour. When our guide picked us up there was another person in the car as our driver. We have never had a separate person drive and it was odd but not a problem until our guide and the driver spoke to each other the entire time speaking in Italian and ignored us. Usually our guide talks and provides history and information about the area but not this time. Actually the driver never introduced himself in fact he never uttered a word to us. Our guide walked way ahead of us and not with us we have never had that happen before either. He was quick to point out where we should eat when we separated and was rather put out when we chose somewhere else so I assume he got a kickback from his suggestion. Take my advise there are many tour options……. Choose another one!
