It was a fun-filled and memorable experience exploring the Isle of Skye, the Highlands, and Loch Ness with Timberbush. Our guide, Jamie, was excellent throughout the tour. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and kept us well informed with interesting stories and explanations at every stop. The overnight stay in Portree arranged by Timberbush was also very good. Our B&B host, Ms. Susan, at Creagory Skye was warm, welcoming, and made our stay comfortable. One suggestion for improvement would be to consider having the lunch break at Dunvegan Castle on the second day instead of in town, as it would allow visitors to make better use of their time at the attraction. The only aspect that left us disappointed was the seating arrangement on the small bus. At the time of booking, we were informed that seating would be on a first-come, first-served basis. The bus had a 2+1 seating configuration (a double seat and a single seat in each row). We were the first passengers to arrive, but upon boarding we were asked to leave the front row vacant and choose another seat. As a couple, we initially sat in the second-row double seat but found it a little cramped, so we moved to the second and third-row single seats. When we reached Glasgow, a group of three passengers joined the tour. Our guide requested that we move back to the second-row double seat so the group could sit together, and we happily agreed. However, we were then asked to move again—this time to the very last row. We explained that my wife suffers from motion sickness and that sitting at the back would be uncomfortable, but we were still persuaded to move. What disappointed us most was that, despite arriving first, we were the only passengers who were repeatedly asked to change seats, while no one else was requested to move. It felt unfair, especially since we had been told seating was on a first-come, first-served basis. Overall, the tour itself was excellent, and we truly enjoyed the destinations, the guide, and our accommodation. However, I would recommend that anyone booking with Timberbush clarify the seating policy in advance to avoid similar disappointment
It was a good experience and the driver (Ben) was fantastic. It is a long day but definitely got to see everything
It was very interesting. Ben told very nice storyes. When you go you must go with Ben. You should take an umbrella or raincoat.
This is a full day but there are plenty of breaks and womderful views and stops. Our guide, Ben, was ver knowledgeable and also had to cope with some serious weather and foggy windows, which he managed quite well.
Excellent trip with our driver guide Jack S from Inverness. Comfortable coach professionally driven. Beautiful scenery and with commentary and the occasional tall story from Jack, it was a pleasure.
What a lovely day! Jack S. (from Inverness) was driver and tour guide. The bus itself was fairly new and quite clean and comfortable. The tour itself was fun and interesting and Jack is a delightful storyteller and knowledgeable guide. All the stops allowed enough time for all but the most dedicated shopper.
Our tour of Isle of Skye was amazing! Marita was funny and so knowledgeable of every place we went by. She really knew everything about everywhere we went. We really enjoyed it and was worth the money!
