Chamila met us enthusiastically as planned and took us to see the artisans at work us g traditional methods which was fascinating. Unfortunately we missed the gem market as we booked an afternoon tour, so bet to book a morning tour if you wish to see that. He was very knowledgeable about the process.
It was an excellent tour. The guide speaks very fluent English and has a calm, pleasant personality, which made the whole experience very comfortable. I had no knowledge about gemstones at all, but he explained everything clearly from the basics and even showed us places that are not usually accessible. It was a truly valuable experience, and I highly recommend this tour.
