07h15 – 7h45: Pick up at your hotel/stays in Old Quarter depart for Quang Phu Cau Incense Village. It about 55 km away city center (about 1h30 hour drive)
9:00 - 9.30: Arrive Incense Village – named Quang Phu Cau. The incense to dry in various formations, you’ll get pictures of people working among this sea of red. Do capture a variety of shots of the workers in action, the village workshops, shooting images of the incense-making process. Taking more images of the friendly locals who have worked on producing incense in this village for generations. Your tour guide will give you informatin about the Worshipping Culture and Religions in Vietnam.
10.30: Departure for Ninh Binh – one of the most beautiful place for tourism in the Northern Vietnam 11.30: Restroom, local coffee at the Rest stop. 12.15: Arrive Ninh Binh, you enjoy lunch with Vietnamese cuisine.
13.15: Discover Tam Coc on Sampan boat, enjoy the beauty of caves, limesstone mountain on Ngo Dong river – which is called Ha Long on Land. Your local rower will do paddle to take you pass through inside caves. You discover very beautiful stalactite, the local floating market, and rice fileds along the river.
15.15: We move to visit Hoa Lu - the ancient Capital of Vietnam. Afterthat, we visit the temple first Emperor of Vietnam. You will be widen knowledge about the Vietnamese history in the 10 th and 11 th centuries.
16.00: Departure for Hanoi. 18.30: Drop off, end the tour.

The driver and guide were quite good in their respective jobs. I was picked up from Hanoi at 07:10 and dropped back at 16:30. The driver informed that the traffic on the highway would have been worse had it been a weekday and luckily we went on a Sunday. There were primarily only 3 stops; Quang Phu Cau (incense village), Hoa Lu (temple of the first king of Vietnam) & Tam Coc (river boat ride on a sampan). Apart from that there were 2 stops for rest and coffee & a lunch stop where authentic local food were served (fixed menu). All in all, a good experience and value for money.
