In the morning: From 7:15 to 7:30 am, picking you up at hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter & taking 1,5 hour - drive to Incense Village Quang Phu Cau, there, you can see the process that the artisans make the incense with beautiful color and dry them under the sun and making the best photos ever. Note: If it rains you cannot see the incense so you will visit Bat Trang pottery village (45 minutes driving) instead with pottery workshop where the artisans produce ceramics products for domestic use and exporting. You also practise to make 1 sample with the instructor.
Before 11:30 am, you will be at Train Street to get ready for taking photos/videos of the train coming back to Hanoi Railway station. This is the most expected part of the trip. Then you have lunch there. If you join the 1/2 day tour, tour guide says goodbye to you at hotel.
Then visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where Vietnamese people worship him as a National hero, Ba Dinh Square where Ex-president Ho Chi Minh declared Independence of Vietnam on September 2nd, 1945. There you can see the Parliament House of Vietnam.
Visit Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam in The 10th Century, learn more about Confucianism and Viet Nam traditional education with Khue Van Pavillion and Doctor Stelaes on turtle's back.
Visiting Hoa Lo Prison wich is known as Maison Centrale in Hanoi or the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ which housed Vietnamese revolutionaries & American POW during the Vietnam War
Driving to West Lake to visit the most ancient pagoda Tran Quoc which was built in 528 to understand about Buhhism in Vietnam.
Tour ends with special Egg coffee that you never try before. 17:30 Dropping you of at your hotels or meeting point. Trip ends.

The perfect full day tour to start my trip in Hanoi. The tour covered all the major to-visits. Train street times perfectly and I saw 2 up close and personal. Luca the tour guide was amazing and carried the entire group along. 10/10
We were lucky enough to only be two on this tour. So we received the all-round carefree package from the professional tour guide, Tiger On-time hotel pickup, then first exchange of important words in Vietnamese. This was followed by the great visits to Lackproduktion, where we got to get a little creative ourselves. Then on to the incense, where we were allowed to dye sticks ourselves. Followed, of course, by a great photo session. Tiger, paint a cone hat after Danny demonstrated the production and explained it clearly. A great day trip! 😀 Thanks to Tiger and the skilful driver who safely meandered through the chaotic traffic 👍🏻
Excellent tour! Packed in the day with lots of activities - which would have been really hard to do without the guide/ tour. Our favourite part was the train street and the visit to the prison! Jenny was friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Very unique experice, specially the lunch and coffee at the train street directly infront of your eyes, nice weather, nice tour, nice city, love people here in hanoi, a bit traffic jam but the tour guide took very good care of everyone, a bit sad at Hoa Lo prision due to the stories, highly recommend
