Iconic Aruba Sail and Snorkel Experience

The guides were so fun and really made it a full experience! The snorkeling was enjoyable and felt comfortable/safe, even being our first time.

Beginning with a sail and then having two separate stops for snorkeling made this a great tour. We saw so many more fish than we thought we would! The snacks and drinks during the tour were awesome, and the crew, led by Sam, were a lot of fun!

Excellent family experience with Pelican Adventures Aruba We had a fantastic experience with the Pelican Adventures Aruba during our family trip. We chose the boat tour in the afternoon, with a stop for snorkeling, and everything exceeded our expectations. The organization has been impeccable since boarding. The boarding staff showed professionalism, sympathy and a lot of attention to the passengers throughout the ride. Everyone was extremely helpful, always concerned about the comfort and safety of the participants. The snorkeling moment was one of the highlights of the experience. The directions were clear and the chosen stop provided an excellent opportunity to appreciate the marine life and the crystal clear waters of Aruba. Another highlight was the food service on board. The snacks were varied and well served, accompanied by drinks and aperitives available during the tour. Everything was offered with a lot of cordiality and efficiency by the crew. The combination of beautiful landscapes, excellent structure, attentive care and pleasant environment made this tour a special memory for the whole family. I highly recommend Pelican Adventures Aruba for those who want to enjoy the sea of Aruba with comfort, safety and a high quality service. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences of our trip.

We loved this tour! Our cruise excursion was cancelled the night before we arrived in Aruba, so we were scrambling to find something, and this ended up being perfect! The guides were great, the drinks were flowing, the stops were incredible!! I have never seen anything like it. Also, I tend to get seasick on smaller boats, but the captain was such a smooth driver I didn’t feel sick at all!!

The tour guides were outstanding, the trip was entertaining and the overall experience was one to remember. Happy we made this part of our trip.

The person who assisted me gave me false information about the tour price and, later, during the payment cancellation process, was very rude to me, even though I was a tourist on vacation. I then asked him to charge the correct amount, but he told me that there was no longer availability, even though just two minutes earlier he had told me there was space and that he was ready to charge me. Whenever I asked a question, he responded in a very disrespectful way, as if my questions were silly, when his job was precisely to answer them clearly and respectfully. I then asked for his name, and he told me it was “Jesus,” but he refused to give me his last name so I could file my complaint properly. The experience was very unpleasant. I do not recommend this tour. There are many other options, and I suggest choosing any of them instead.

I went on this excursion yesterday and still smiling from ear to ear. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The crew was great- professional, experienced and fun. I highly recommend this tour and have already recommended this to others.

My husband and I had a great time on the afternoon snorkel boat tour to Boca Catalina and the Antilles shipwreck with Pelican Adventures. When we went, I was told that they there were 70 people on the catamaran. I was thinking how that was going to be so crowded, but it was very comfortable; seats for everyone. They offered a Full bar with many drink options. Snacks were simple but good (fruit skewers, cheese skewers, empanadas…). We would do this tour again and would recommend to others!

First parking- we had no instruction on where to park. Ended up in a pay lot at the holiday inn. While the lot has a “pay here” kiosk at the gate, we found out when leaving it only accepted $1 bills. We had a $20 and were told by a security person that you must pay at the holiday inn front desk. I left my wife and car for 20 min of walking 5 minutes to find the front desk and 15 of waiting in line to pay $6 to get out of the lot. Second the trip - We waited in a short line to check in, then we boarded the boat. The boat and Captain David were both really great! The captain was fun and informative and the staff were friendly and helpful. The first snorkel spot, the shipwreck, is out quite a bit from shore. Unfortunately 5 other boat companies arrived when we did making for an uncomfortable and slightly dangerous snorkel experience with that many people in the same small area. My wife got kicked in the head several times before retreating to the boat. The second stop was on a reef close to shore. There were lots of fish and coral to see and we spent time following a sea turtle. Very clear water, and some of the best snorkeling we’ve experienced thus far. Finally the open bar- all staff were helpful and consistently filling drinks of rum punch, and mixed drinks- vodka, gin, and rum. From what I could tell on my 5 drinks in 2.5 hours, they were watered down. I understand they don’t want crazy drunk people on their boat, but the drinks were not a highlight. Overall, decent experience for the money, and good guys trying to run a cool excursion.

Our afternoon snorkel was a blast!!! I just missed seeing a sea turtle by the ship wreck. The waters were really rough. My husband had a blast jumping off the boat many times. This is a MUST DO during your vacation. Great for kids and adults. There are so much sealife to discover snorkeling . ****Something I wanted to point out. Tipping has become common place for all kinds of services nowadays in the U.S. However, at the conclusion of our snorkeling trip so many people walked past the tip jar. These men worked hard to make our trip amazing from working the boat, bartending, teaching/informing and entertaining everyone. THIS IS A TIPPABLE SERVICE, just like dinner at a restaurant. Servers have just one job to serve your food and drink. In 2 hours these crew members work very hard for us. Please be mindful of this if you book a cruise or stay at an all inclusive resort.
