We spent a few days in Venice and what’s a trip to Venice without some live music, and this town has a real love for Vivaldi. This experience was phenomenal! The venue was beautiful, held in a mansion. The musicians were in 18th c costume and the opera singer who did a few opening pieces and one closing piece was absolutely hysterical, oh and also an amazing voice! The four seasons itself was beautiful and memorable. The lead violinist was spectacular. Highly recommend!!

I attended two consecutive evenings of the Vivaldi Baroque Ensemble performances, experiencing both Program B and Program A. The first evening already convinced me that I was witnessing something extraordinary. The second evening, however, revealed an even deeper dimension of this remarkable ensemble. What impressed me most was not only the extraordinary virtuosity of the individual musicians, but the rare chemistry among them. This is an ensemble that does not simply perform together; they communicate continuously through music. Every glance, every smile, every movement and every exchange between musicians creates the feeling of a conversation that has developed through years of shared artistic life. The highlight of my second evening was experiencing Program A from the front row. This proximity completely transformed the experience. I could observe every detail of the performance: the violinist’s expressive face, the extraordinary precision of his fingers, the movement of his bow, and the way his entire body seemed to breathe with the music. It was not merely a demonstration of technical brilliance; it was an invitation into the inner world of the performers. The solo violinist in the Four Seasons gave one of the most compelling violin performances I have ever witnessed. His playing combined absolute mastery with the freedom and curiosity of a true dreamer. Watching him, I felt both the discipline of decades of training and the joy of someone discovering the music anew in every moment. This quality extended throughout the entire ensemble. The musicians seemed not only to perform Vivaldi but to dream together through his music. Their interaction created a spellbinding atmosphere where the audience was no longer simply watching a concert, but was invited to enter the same imaginative world. The oboist was remarkable not only as a solo performer but also as a musical leader, naturally moving between guiding the ensemble and stepping forward as an individual voice. The tenor performance brought another dimension of theatrical imagination; his voice seemed to float effortlessly, full of color, movement and emotion, while his stage presence created a unique dialogue between music and personality. What fascinated me most was the beautiful paradox at the heart of the performance: the coexistence of innocence and sophistication. There was a childlike curiosity and playfulness in the musicians’ expressions, yet behind every gesture stood years of discipline, experience and collaboration. The result was music that was technically extraordinary without becoming distant, and emotionally free without losing refinement. The Baroque costumes, the historic setting and the intimate relationship between performers and audience completed this journey into another world. It felt less like attending a conventional concert and more like entering a living musical dream—one where history, imagination and artistry met. For those considering attending, I would especially recommend choosing a seat close to the performers if possible. The intimacy of seeing the musicians’ expressions and communication reveals another dimension of live performance. This was not simply a concert of Vivaldi’s music. It was an encounter with artists who transformed virtuosity into emotion, and performance into a shared dream.

Very good for a quick show. Not real long. Limited in that it’s a small orchestra but it was done very well. Great value. Great to take kids to. Costumes were great.
